This is the most OPEN Election in which three candidates have clear paths to the Nigerian presidency.

According to the pundits, unlike their rivals in the APC (Tinubu) and the PDP (Atiku), Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso have not been able to establish a nationwide political infrastructure.

A growing number of voters can now acquire information directly from the sources, eliminating the need for filters and middlemen, thanks to the proliferation of mobile internet. Markets are fallible because of knowledge asymmetry. The same thing happens in politics when there are flaws in the voting process.

However, the first election in the era of mobile internet will take place in 2023 in Nigeria. This election is the first national one to centre on the practicality of apps. I’m not saying that the political structures that have been in place for decades are irrelevant, but I am making the point that disintermediation (the elimination of middlemen) is occurring and that regular voters now have more information at their disposal than ever before to make decisions about candidates on their own.

Because of their position as gatekeepers of knowledge, the Ezes, Obas, Amanyanabos, and Emirs swayed many previous elections with their block voting strategy of zone defence and zone offence (as in football); for most villages, the village head decided which candidates to support.

That won’t occur in 2023 because they don’t have monopoly on candidate data. This creates a level playing field for candidates, as the Best Message will WIN regardless of how INEC acts.

Don’t listen to young people who say your candidate can’t win. The score is tied at the end of regulation, forcing sudden-death overtime when each candidate hopes to score the winning goal.

Masari: The Nigerian census is heavily influenced by political calculations.

0 0
Read Time:2 Minute, 29 Second

Aminu Bello Masari, the governor of Katsina State, claimed on Thursday that the Nigerian census is highly politicised and plagued by politics of numbers and resource distribution influenced by ethnic, regional, and religious divides.

He clarified that even earlier censuses carried out by military administrations in the nation were not free of tribal politics and regional, zonal, and religious politics, which he claimed invalidated the primary goal of the census.

Masari stated that the entire planning system of the country has been badly impacted to the extent that the country does not know its precise growth rate. Masari was speaking at a stakeholders meeting on the 2023 Population and Housing Census in Katsina.

The census, he said, which was intended to aid in actual planning, has been reduced to politics of numbers and politics of resource access, and the commission should focus on the quality of numbers rather than politics of numbers, he added.

In this country, the census has been heavily and incorrectly politicised, according to Masari. For those of us who are 70 years or older, the census politics I can recall seeing occurred in 1963 when I was in primary seven and we were called up to conduct one after the previous one was cancelled.

This has continued in succeeding censuses, even those carried out by the military were not free of tribal politics as well as regional, zonal, and religious politics. The primary goal of the census was therefore utterly misconstrued as a result.

“You have stolen what is not yours, he has taken what is not his, and across the federal convergence, you have twisted the resource allocation so that we can benefit. We have been surviving on lies because of this.

The tragedy of our efforts to address census-related issues, according to the governor, “might seldom fall on us in terms of resource allocation and political offices.” The basic goal of understanding our population has been compromised by this.

“Even our growth rate is inaccurate. The politics of numbers, not the quality of the numbers, plague all of our censuses. We anticipate that this time, thanks to technology, we will be able to estimate our population in this nation with near-perfect accuracy. The commission should focus on data quality rather than data politics.

Bala Almu Banye, the Federal Commissioner of the National Population Commission (NPC), Katsina State, had earlier stated that the NPC was committed to digitising the national census in order to satisfy international standards.

According to him, the national population and housing census, which is set for 2023, is intended to fulfil the goal of realising the objective of giving the necessary demographic information that will enable and elevate Nigeria to the status of sustainable development.

The summit, according to Banye, will increase support at the state level for the successful conduct of the census in 2023 and raise public understanding of its requirements, procedures, and timeframes.

You Lack the Capacity to Bring Down Rivers APC, Eze Tells Wike

0 0
Read Time:6 Minute, 21 Second

… Says Governor Failed in Serial Attempts in the Past and Will Continue to Fail

…Assured that APC in Rivers State is an Indissoluble Structure

….Describes Wike’s Threat as Empty, Childish, Outlandish, Ridiculous, Unfortunate and Laughable

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State while commissioning one of his makeshift projects – the Ogbunuabali Sandfilled Area in Port Harcourt made an unrealisable, outlandish, ridiculous and unfortunate statement; boasting that he and his team have a huge task of bringing down the structure of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers state.

The governor affirmed he has been busy destroying APC structures in the oil-rich state whereas some of the party members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are on the other hand distracting him.

Reacting to the tasteless showiness and gaudy claim, erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New People’s Democratic Party (nPDP) and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze says it is laughable to see the Governor deploy very flamboyant claims as a gimmick to sway Presidential candidates and political lobbyists to continue to see him afloat the waters of political relevance ahead of 2023 elections.

He says it beats ones imagination to comprehend the parameter used by Governor Nyesom Wike that gave him the deceptive conclusion and false impression that he is either destroying or capable of destroying the APC Structure in Rivers State.

In a statement made available to media houses in Port Harcourt, Eze noted that it will amount to gross disappointment for the Governor to bank on the emptiness of the irrelevant and politically worthless former APC members whom he bought over to his side after they were swayed by his cash gifts running into millions of Naira, to destroy the Rivers APC, noting that the departure of those former APC members has very little or no negative impact on the stability of the party in the state.

He said the fact that the Governor used some political jobbers who marauded as party men to scuttle the chances of APC in the elections of 2015 and 2019 should not give him courage to think that same regrettable mistakes will ever be allowed to happen in 2023.

Those who left the APC are moles planted by Wike and what happened is simply that he took them back to his fold formally to show them appreciation for constituting themselves as nusiance to the progress of the party in the State and that does not qualify as defection because they were not part of the progressives in the first instance.

“Are you counting that these elements rejoining you in order to receive their pay for aiding you to continue to ruin the economy and future of Rivers State is what gives you the impression that you are destroying the APC Structure? If the answer is in the affirmative, then your stand becomes laughable as it doesn’t in any way portray that APC in Rivers State have been decimated.”

By retrieving some of these elements who have by their actions have lost political relevance so far politics is concerned in Rivers State you have only succeeded in making the Rivers State APC Structure stronger and well positioned to send you and your funny Group out from the Brick House and salvage the State from her present sorry State.

It is regrettable that God gave you a unique privilege to write your name in gold but see what you have done to yourself instead of being a Governor you turned yourself a laughing stock, an Entertainer and  Nigeria Best Government Comedian. I don’t know if the elders amongst those that you entertain find time to counsel you on your rating in the eyes of the world.

Today instead of improving on what your predecessors have achieved for the State you only succeeded in taking the State many years aback in her drive to join other developed economies.

What Wike has failed to understand is that “Everybody leaves the ATM once it stops dispensing cash”. Once you are no longer in position to misuse Rivers State funds in currying favour and buying those that are purchasable, you will find out if truly those that are taking selfie with you are truly in love with your style of governance. It is matter of few months and your eyes will be clear.”

“I can now understand what one of the big fishes you feel that you have captured told me, “Eze, what Wike is dishing out to the public uncontrollably is Rivers State money and we are sons and daughters of Rivers State and entitled to those funds so if it means taking selfie with Wike to get our own portion of the fund then we will join him until such a time it becomes imperative for us to collectively join hands together to salvage the State” If this is the stand of most of these political Actors we will send more of them to you.”

Seriously, how do you crumble a party structure that has members of the Federal Lawmakers,. a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, an Ambassador and person’s like  Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, Dr. Dakuku Adol Peterside who recently emptied the PDP Structure in the Local Government Area of your imposed guber candidate. A party with the likes of Pastor Tonye Cole, Ambassador Ngofa, Hon. Ojukaye, Prof Ugboma, Dr. Asita, Chief Emeke Beke, Hon. Brown Onari, Dr. Innocent Barikor, Dr. Ndubuisi Nwankwo, Hon. Ike Chinwo, Dame Aleruchi CookeyGham, Hon. Dave Okumgba, Dr. Sokonte Davies, Hon. Henry Halliday, Hon. Barr  Forgiven Amachree, Hon. Biokpomabo Awara,  Lady Oby NDUKWE, Mrs. Beatrice Amobi Dappa, Mrs. Opem Udose, Gbarato Baridakara,  Darlington Nwauju, Sam-Sam Etetegwung, Hon. Douglas WaSerite Dodiyi Manuel, Barr. Mrs. Winnie Morganson amongst other top party Chieftains and Stakeholders

and thousands of credible personalities that you cannot purchase still members of the party.

On the other hand, Eze wish to know which political party the Governor is dumping these political commodities he has been purchasing from APC. Is it PDP that is no longer existing in Rivers State where the key strongholds have deserted the party. Or is Wike unaware that Senator Lee Maeba, Sir Celestine Omehia, Rt. Hon. Austin Opara, Prince Uche Secondus, Senator George Thompson Sekibo, Dr Abiye Sekibo former Minister of Transportation, Hon. Chinyere Igweh including his former boss Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi have all deserted him so why plotting to crumble APC when he has failed to strengthen or keep his crumbling party structure intact and cohesive.

Eze counsels the Governor to continue to deceive the general public as if he is the sole determinant of how Rivers State and her people will vote in the 2023 general elections as in the next few weeks Nigerians will come to know that the so called PDP in Rivers State is just an empty structure without any sound political leader.

Eze expresses happiness over the untoward statement of Wike that while he is destroying the APC structure in the State some funny leaders of the party are hobnobbing and encouraging him in his weightless destructive acts. He assured that what most people fail to understand is that 2019 is not 2023, noting that River people have learnt lessons and are now ever ready to take on Wike and his conscienceless followers on every step to undermine the progressives party in Rivers State.

38,000 doctors support Obi’s presidential ambitions and pledge 25 million votes

0 0
Read Time:2 Minute, 43 Second

No fewer than 38,000 medical doctors and other health workers have thrown their weight behind the presidential bid of Mr Peter Obi, the standard bearer of the Labour Party.

They also promised to mobilise 25 million votes for the former governor of Anambra state through free nationwide medical outreach programmes at the grassroots level under the aegis of Docs and Medics for Peter Obi.

This is even as the National Woman Leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Ada Orji Nwanyanwu, dumped the party and led other women politicians across the country to the Labour Party.

Speaking during the presentation of working tools by three support groups to the Labour Party’s campaign council at the party’s headquarters in Abuja on Monday, the convener of Docs and Medics for Peter Obi, Dr Uche Uzoukwu, explained how the group plans to deliver the 25 million votes in 2023.

He stated: “Nurses, doctors and pharmacists are coming together under the name docs and medics for Peter Obi. Politics is a game of numbers and everyone is important. Therefore, 11,000 doctors, 27,000 medics have come together and have formed even state groups.

“We are reaching out to the local governments and have moved down to the wards and leaders have been inaugurated. We are moving down to the polling units and have 500,000 to grow and encourage them to get in touch with 50 people as the attend to patients. With this, we can have 25 million votes.

“We want to deliver 25 million votes, by giving right to life and to be well, the votes can be gathered. Medical outreaches have been in place and is still being used. Community members at the outreaches are encouraged to vote Peter Obi with a promise that the exercise will continue once Labour Party wins,” he said.

Lamenting the poor state of the nation’s health sector, Uzoukwu said Obi has the capacity to tackle brain drain; stressing that the doctors and the medics would stay behind after the 2023 elections to develop the sector.

He recalled that during the window period of PVC registration, the group had paid for logistics for persons without voter cards to be registered by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), noting that such was done in 26 states and 52 different locations where thousands were registered.

Earlier, the National Chairman of Labour Party, Barrister Julius Abure, said the country has never experienced democracy since 1999, but will however begin on its course come 2023 when the former Anambra governor is voted in as president.

He stated that the ruling All Peoples Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party were never owned by the people but by those who funded it, adding that he who blows the piper, dictates the tune of the music.

Abure also lampooned that persons who had claimed that the party is without structure, saying such narrative owing have been buried due to the rising popularity of the party.

The event also coincided with the defection of the National Woman Leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Ada Orji Nwanyanwu and other women politicians to the LP.

According to Nwanyanwu, she was leaving APGA because “Peter Obi has the answer to the challenges facing Nigeria.”

South-West secession letter to Buhari divides Yoruba leaders

0 0
Read Time:6 Minute, 44 Second
Mixed reactions are trailing a letter written to President Muhammadu Buhari by a Yoruba leader, Professor Banji Akintoye, asking for the support of the President for the South-West people to secede from Nigeria.
Akintoye, who wrote on behalf of the Yoruba Self-Determined Movement, YSDM, told Buhari that the South-West wanted a “peaceful break away” of the Yoruba nation from Nigeria.
He said in the letter that an overwhelming number of the Yoruba want out of the country because of their “worsening and painful plight.”
The letter read in part: “Mr President, the Yoruba Self-Determination Movement now serves you notice of the decision of the Yoruba people to assert their right to self-determination which is an inalienable and unquestionable right of every indigenous nation in the world.
“Upon asserting this right of self-determination, we the Yoruba nation shall be free to determine our political status, pursue our economic, social and cultural development according to policies chosen independently by us, and to live under the government independently chosen and ordered by us”.
The letter has divided the leaders and stakeholders of Yorubaland. Expectedly, the disagreement is between those who are in support of the Akintoye group’s move and those against.
‘Akintoye is right’
The Secretary-General, Yoruba Council of Elders, YCE, Dr Kunle Olajide, is one of those on the side of the YSDM leader. One of his reasons he gave for his decision is that people could no longer go to their farms due to insecurity.
Olajide said: “Prof. Akintoye is right and the YCE is in support of what he has said. You and I know that we have not sat down anywhere to properly plan, discuss and have a majority agree that it must happen on a particular day. “However, there is still room for discussion because we have some of our men and women in this Federal Government as well. We must not see the FG as being different and we, the Yoruba, as different.
“We have Yoruba ministers and, presently, a Yoruba is the Vice President.
“ I would advice Akintoye to look for an opportunity to invite our son, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and one of the Senate leaders to sit together and take a decision.
“If we are not free to go to our farms and walk safely in the country because government cannot guarantee our safety, then you do not blame anybody in this country that is considering the other option.”
Nothing is wrong – Arogbofa
A former General Secretary of Afenifere, Bashorun Sehinde Arogbofa, echoed Olajide’s sentiment, saying there was nothing wrong in seeking self-determination.
“I don’t see anything wrong in that, at least, it will be on record that such request was made to the government. He’s in order, what he has written is supported by us”, Arogbofa noted.
Important step – Ajibulu
The General Secretary of the Ekiti Council of Elders, Elder Niyi Ajibulu, said the letter was an important step in resolving the protracted issues in the country.
“It is only through discussion that issues can be resolved. I think it’s the right step in the right direction; rather than creating problems, the best thing is for them to write a letter and for the Federal Government to respond”, Ajibulu said.
“The request is for a meeting to discuss, it shouldn’t be too difficult for government to sit down with any group and discuss how to solve the problem confronting the nation”.
Nobody is happy – Ogunsakin
On his part, the Chairman of Ekiti Traditional Chieftaincy Title Holders, Chief Olu Ogunsakin, stressed that Akintoye spoke the minds of the Yoruba people.
“I read the letter and I don’t think there is nothing wrong in that. At least, he expressed the minds of the Yoruba people in that letter and I don’t think I have any objection to that write-up”, Ogunsakin said.
“He spoke on behalf of the Yoruba and, with the way things are going, nobody is really happy with the situation in the country”.
Also speaking, a public affairs commentator, Zadok Akintoye, said it had become necessary that civil channels like the one used by Akintoye be encouraged in place of violent agitations like the one done by the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPoB, among others.
“I commend this effort and believe it has become important to take this route as a path to the actualization of more independent regions”, he stated.
‘Peaceful separation’
A former gubernatorial candidate in Ogun State, Ogbeni Lanre Banjo, said, “The tone of the letter is to seek peaceful separation or allowance of regional governments.
“The decision to have a separate nation is that of an overwhelming majority of Yoruba worldwide. Submission of over five million signatures required by the United Nation to substantiate that requirement has been complied with.
“One of the other steps is to notify the President of the country. The letter specifically stated the sufferings of other ethnicities in the hands of the President’s tribe.
“Furthermore, the President complicates matters by being the Patron of Fulani herdsmen allegedly terrorizing Nigerians without deterring actions.
“So, it is a requisite step to be fulfilled to merit the approval of the separation of the Yoruba nation from Nigeria”.
‘Political bargain’
Meanwhile, a member of the Yoruba self-determination group, Ilana Omo Oodua, IOO, which Akintoye also headed, who spoke to Sunday Vanguard in confidence, accused the history professor of trying to use the organisation as a political bargain.
She said: “After serving Buhari a notice that the Yoruba people want to exercise their rights to self-determination and justified it, Baba, in the same letter, is demanding for a negotiation meeting. Who does that?
“How do you request for negotiation from someone that is oppressing you and has an immense advantage over you in terms of power, arms, sovereignty, money and everything?
“What does Professor Akintoye have outside five million online petitions that warrant him to demand for negotiation or worthy of being negotiated with outside his media noise?
“Buhari should be the one to reach out to us for negotiation, not Akintoye asking for a negotiation.
“What Akintoye did was against the run of play. When Ambassador Buratai visited Sunday Igboho in Benin prison for negotiation, he did not write the Nigerian government for negotiation, they came and Igboho turned them down. That is what is called a fighter and activist”.
‘Letter unnecessary’
Meanwhile, a political analyst, Hon Ayo Fadaka, said the letter by Akintoye to Buhari was unnecessary.
“Akintoye heads an organisation that assumes it has the responsibility to speak for the Yoruba people even when such mandate has not been given to it”, Fadaka stated.
“He is not the only one in that classification as there are many others too who equally claim to be fighting for our liberation.
“The letter was unnecessary because, for a President with Buhari’s mindset, it is just an exercise in futility. The letter, with its content, drive and desire, remains a mere exercise in futility.”
‘Self-serving’
Also, the Ondo State Chairman of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Stephen Adewale, said, “The fact that almost all of the leaders who have promoted such agitation have resorted to running away when the going gets tough is one of the contributing elements to the failure.
“When the circumstance occurs, all activists give up on the cause.
“This further demonstrates the self-serving motive of these ethnic leaders, especially those who are currently leading the Yoruba agitation.
“History has demonstrated that there is no guarantee that the citizens of Yoruba or any other ethnic nationalities in the country will be better off under a separate nation.
“The same leadership crisis that bedevils Nigeria will definitely assail the so-called new nation.
“The solution to the country’s problem, therefore, is to ensure that we all do the right thing in 2023 by voting for the right candidates that have what it takes to take the country out of the woods.”

Eze Replies Shittu on Wike Joining APC

Read Time:3 Minute, 11 Second

Describes Those Wooing a Man who connived with Others and Deployed State Resources and Other Apparatus of Government to Destroy the Party in Rivers State as Grossly uninterested in Tinubu’s Presidency

…Restates that No Evil Scheme Can Force Amaechi out of APC against His Will

Chieftain of the All Progresses Congress and erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New People’s Democratic Party (nPDP), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has bemoaned former Commutations Minister, Adebayo Shittu, over his uncomplimentary remarks targeted at disparaging the personality of former presidential aspirant and former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi on the rumored planned defection of Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike to the ruling All Progressives Congress.

The former Minister of Communications and the DG of Tinubu-Shettima Coalition for Good Governance, Chief Adebayo Shittu in a news report titled, “Rotimi Amaechi should be happy that someone like Gov. Wike is being linked to the APC” states that- “nobody will stop Governor Nyesom Wike if he wants to come to the All Progressives Congress because, they know he is a tactician. If I were in Rotimi Amaechi’s shoes, I would see Wike’s coming as an opportunity to settle scores and reconcile with him. What he should be thinking of at that point is that with Wike coming into the party, will there be an in-fighting anymore ?.”

In a statement made available to media houses in Port Harcourt, Chief Eze pointed out that Mal. Shittu and those he is promoting seem to be ignorant of the gross damages that Governor Nyesom Wike inflicted on Rivers APC and her teeming supporters using public funds and other instruments of state with the help of some saboteurs like Abe and Others.

As a matter of fact, Eze said the identities of those who connived with Wike to ensure the relegation of APC in Rivers State are in the public space and it clearly appears that all the visits to Wike by Tinubu’s allies is to appreciate the Governor for all that he has done to destroy APC in Rivers State and frustrate the chances of the people at making their choices at the polls, especially in 2019 when the party was denied the chance of fielding candidates for that year’s elections.

For the same Wike to now become a favorite bride and hero capable of being wooed in the eyes of Mal. Shittu and his paymasters as the only option that can guarantee the success of APC in 2023 at the detriment of Amaechi whose sacrifices towards the electoral successes of the party in 2015 and 2019 at the federal level cannot be overemphasized.

The party Chief warned that in as much as the Amaechi camp will continue to do everything possible for the party and its Presidential candidate to succeed in Rivers State in 2023, it will not tolerate the entrance of Wike into the party, as such scheme represents the direct opposite of what the progressive party stands for. “the very day Wike is accommodated or accepted as APC member, I am afraid of the possibility of APC government come 2023.”

“Those of us in Rivers State APC and the entire Rivers State are all aware of the damages that Wike has caused the party. This plot to woo Wike for any reason whatsoever is a failed plot before arrival.”

For the records, Chief Eze reiterated that no force can force Amaechi out of the APC- a house he built, because Shittu and some of his cohorts may have forgotten the sacrifices that Amaechi has made for the APC to achieve the status it enjoys countrywide today.

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, member of APC Legacy Projects Media Team and erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New People’s Democratic Party (nPDP), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze has reminded Governor Nyesom Wike of his vow during the presidential primary of the PDP in Abuja, that he would fully support whoever emerged as candidate of the party to show his love and commitment to the umbrella party and stop all these shenanigans and macabre dance that further portrays him as a very confused fellow.

Reacting to the Governor’s sudden derogatory comments, anti-party directives to his followers and romance with those whose political moorings are antithetical to that of the People’s Democratic Party and her presidential candidate, Alh. Atiku Abubakar, Chief Eze hinted that the Rivers Governor is a desperate opportunist who has earned himself a reputation of a political chameleon with a wagging tongue of deceit.

On the laughable threat by the Governor and some of his misguided cohorts that they will speak to expose some recent happenings in PDP, after Atiku Abubakar’s Arise interview, Eze said such threat does not hold water and only presents the Governor and his cohorts as mere busybody, noting that nothing under the sun is apparently new about PDP and Atiku Abubakar.

“Is he going to tell us that he never wasted Rivers State funds in the wild goose chase of the PDP Presidential ticket in which he was thoroughly defeated? Or is he going to tell us that he never mobilised to be appointed as the Vice Presidential Candidate of PDP?”

Or is Wike going to tell us that he never vowed to support whoever emerged as the PDP Presidential Flag-Bearer. In case, he has forgotten he should listen to the video containing his speech where he thundered and vowed “Today anyone who emerges here I will support the person to the fullest because I am a committed party person, because I love this party, because since 1998 I have been in this party, I will work for this party, I will not go anywhere this is my party”.

“Is Wike going to tell us that Atiku has no right to appoint who should be his Vice President? I have counseled Wike to pipe down and accept his fate as his poor leadership, deceitful record, bad administration, past deeds and unwarranted and unguided utterances were the major factors that worked against him in not clinching the PDP Presidential ticket or becoming the Vice President to the PDP Presidential Flag-Bearer. “

Eze called on Wike not to allow his untutored followers to deceive him to work against his political party as “we can’t tolerate him in APC after all the damages he has done to the party in the State” Eze said.

Finally Abe Blinks, Amaechi Wins

In 2007, while seeking to legally recover his stolen mandate, the cabal in the PDP expelled Amaechi from the party using the non-existing candidature of his cousin, Celestine Omehia. Amaechi won the legal battle, became governor, and eventually won again as his membership in the party was restored through the courts.

Fast forward to 2014, some political buccaneers tried to use Wike to end him politically in PDP.  Rather than being suffocated, he moved to APC and together with other Progressives, and for the first time in the history of Nigerian politics, an opposition party toppled a sitting government.

Following his rising profile, enemies within his party who didn’t like his rising profile and wealth of power yet again started another clandestine move to undermine him and further render him politically incapacitated.

This time around, the willing tool was a close ally and politically beneficiary Sen. Magnus Ngei Abe.

Rising from the experiences of yesterday, Rotimi Amaechi stood his ground to protect and secure his political dynasty, which led to years of political wars sponsored by Wike and executed by Abe.

The end has justified the means. Magnus  Abe has finally been chased out of APC by his undesirable ambition and has forcefully stopped his ownership claim of the APC while shopping for a willing horse, even a dead one in the SDP.

He failed his sponsors this time for lack of tact to execute and achieve their destructive agenda against the party that gave him some national prominence in the Red Chambers. No thanks to Amaechi, anyway!

It’s politically correct to say for Rivers APC and Amaechi, “Once bitten twice shy.”
