Eze Replies Shittu on Wike Joining APC

Describes Those Wooing a Man who connived with Others and Deployed State Resources and Other Apparatus of Government to Destroy the Party in Rivers State as Grossly uninterested in Tinubu’s Presidency

…Restates that No Evil Scheme Can Force Amaechi out of APC against His Will

Chieftain of the All Progresses Congress and erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New People’s Democratic Party (nPDP), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has bemoaned former Commutations Minister, Adebayo Shittu, over his uncomplimentary remarks targeted at disparaging the personality of former presidential aspirant and former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi on the rumored planned defection of Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike to the ruling All Progressives Congress.

The former Minister of Communications and the DG of Tinubu-Shettima Coalition for Good Governance, Chief Adebayo Shittu in a news report titled, “Rotimi Amaechi should be happy that someone like Gov. Wike is being linked to the APC” states that- “nobody will stop Governor Nyesom Wike if he wants to come to the All Progressives Congress because, they know he is a tactician. If I were in Rotimi Amaechi’s shoes, I would see Wike’s coming as an opportunity to settle scores and reconcile with him. What he should be thinking of at that point is that with Wike coming into the party, will there be an in-fighting anymore ?.”

In a statement made available to media houses in Port Harcourt, Chief Eze pointed out that Mal. Shittu and those he is promoting seem to be ignorant of the gross damages that Governor Nyesom Wike inflicted on Rivers APC and her teeming supporters using public funds and other instruments of state with the help of some saboteurs like Abe and Others.

As a matter of fact, Eze said the identities of those who connived with Wike to ensure the relegation of APC in Rivers State are in the public space and it clearly appears that all the visits to Wike by Tinubu’s allies is to appreciate the Governor for all that he has done to destroy APC in Rivers State and frustrate the chances of the people at making their choices at the polls, especially in 2019 when the party was denied the chance of fielding candidates for that year’s elections.

For the same Wike to now become a favorite bride and hero capable of being wooed in the eyes of Mal. Shittu and his paymasters as the only option that can guarantee the success of APC in 2023 at the detriment of Amaechi whose sacrifices towards the electoral successes of the party in 2015 and 2019 at the federal level cannot be overemphasized.

The party Chief warned that in as much as the Amaechi camp will continue to do everything possible for the party and its Presidential candidate to succeed in Rivers State in 2023, it will not tolerate the entrance of Wike into the party, as such scheme represents the direct opposite of what the progressive party stands for. “the very day Wike is accommodated or accepted as APC member, I am afraid of the possibility of APC government come 2023.”

“Those of us in Rivers State APC and the entire Rivers State are all aware of the damages that Wike has caused the party. This plot to woo Wike for any reason whatsoever is a failed plot before arrival.”

For the records, Chief Eze reiterated that no force can force Amaechi out of the APC- a house he built, because Shittu and some of his cohorts may have forgotten the sacrifices that Amaechi has made for the APC to achieve the status it enjoys countrywide today.

Ends

Signed

Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze,

APC Chieftain, member of APC Legacy Projects Media Team & former National Publicity Secretary, nPDP

Nigeria Police Goes After Abia State RRS Commander Over Alleged Comment Linking Fulani Herdsmen With Army At Umunneochi

0 0
Read Time:1 Minute, 37 Second
As IGP Restates Unalloyed Commitment to Fostering Synergy with Military, Others.
The attention of the Nigeria Police Force has been drawn to a video making the rounds in some sections of the media where a Chief Superintendent of Police of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), attached to the Abia State Police Command, while on special duty at Umunneochi L.G.A of the state following the kidnap of some members of the community on Sunday 29th May 2022, was seen addressing a crowd in an unapproved and unprofessional manner by attacking a particular ethnic group and casting aspersions on other security agencies.
It is pertinent to state that the officer was at the location to carry out a rescue operation led by an Assistant Commissioner of Police. He had no locus standi to address the press or any group of persons, as such is the sole responsibility of the Commissioner of Police, and the Police Public Relations Officer, or at least his superior in rank who was also at the scene.
His impetuous and unguarded statements expressly contradict salient provisions of the Social Media Policy, Police Act and Regulations, and Code of Conduct for Police Officers, as well as extant laws regulating the conduct and activities of police officers. The Force wishes to state unequivocally that the unguarded utterances of the individual do not represent the principles, ideals, position, and ethics of the Nigeria Police Force, and therefore dissociates itself in its entirety.
The Inspector-General of Police acknowledges and will continually appreciate the robust synergy enjoyed over time by the military and other security agencies in maintaining the internal security, even as he assured that the erring officer will face the disciplinary procedures of the Force for his unguarded indiscretions. He equally restated the commitment of his administration to ensuring all and sundry have access to policing services without sentimental colourations.

Abuja author inspires readers to embrace spiritual realms in new Christian book

0 0
Read Time:1 Minute, 9 Second

ABUJA, Nigeria — This week marks the nationwide release of “Cut Off Your Head,” an eye-opening new spiritual book by author Opeoluwa Dele-lge.

In “Cut Off Your Head,” the author reveals that in a world that is ruled by logic and reason, where people hardly believe what is not revealed to their senses, most of them are having little or no supernatural experiences. It has therefore become expedient that they trace their way back to that place where they recognize that their human wisdom cannot get them anywhere far because the things that are not seen are the real and eternal things.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

Dele-Ige is a microbiologist who trained from one of the Nigerian universities. She is passionate about seeing men and women live the fullness of life that their heavenly Father has prepared for them, and she does this through writing and one-on-one counseling.

CodeWit Joins Nigeria’s First Paid Press Release Distribution Service

0 0
Read Time:1 Minute, 25 Second

Codewit has joined Nigeria’s first paid press release distribution service, HeraldNewswireNigeria.com.ng, which provides journalists, bloggers, and media outlets with the content they require while also generating revenue.

The constant decline in print media readership necessitates a novel approach to generating additional revenue. We believe that having a revenue source other than advertisements will help sustain online and print media in Nigeria, hence the need for a paid press release distribution network, according to Aniekan Okono, Business Development Head, Heraldin Service, co-founder.

Herald Newswire Distribution collaborates with Nigerian journalists, online bloggers, and media outlets. Brings a fresh perspective to newswire services and press release distribution in Nigeria. This is a departure from traditional newswire and press release distribution services, and it benefits both Nigerian journalists, online bloggers, Nigerian media outlets, and Herald Newswire Nigeria.

There is currently a cap on the number of Nigerian journalists, online bloggers, and media outlets that can participate in the first batch of this programme. Participants are chosen based on their print readership and/or online traffic.

At the moment, this is still open until sometime in February 2014. To join this first batch, Nigerian journalists, Nigeria online bloggers and Nigerian media outlets should visit www.heraldnewswirenigeria.com.ng/publishers to provide their information

Rev Terry Jones Koran Burning attempt is condemned by Codewit.com

Read Time:43 Second

Codewit.com condemns the attempt by Rev. Terry Jones of the Gainesville, Florida-based Dove World Outreach Center to burn Qurans on September 11 2010. Such action if carried out, will have serious negative consenquencies globally, and might likely spill over to our beloved country, Nigeria.

The negative experiences, deaths and huge losses arising from a Danish cartoon of Prophet Mohammed, is an example of what Rev Terry Jones wants to plunge the world into. The world needs peace now more than ever before. Therefore, we call on all faith leaders in Nigeria, security services, political leaders, state governors, regional leaders, village heads, community leaders, opinion leaders, etc to hold an emergency meeting(s) on how to prevent a spill over effects, should Rev Terry Jones proceed with his plans to burn Qurans on September 11 2010. May God bless Nigeria.

International Workshop on Role and place of African immigrants in a Finnish society 2010 organised by Codewit Global Network ry

Helsinki, a Finnish city full of culture and history, was the venue for the First International Workshop on Role and place of African immigrants in a Finnish society, which was successfully held in August 28-08-2010. The workshop was hosted and organized by Codewit Global Network Ry, co-organized by CAISA international Cultural Center, and technically sponsored by the Technical Committee of the CAISA international Cultural Center.

The workshop attracted about 80 participants among whom where speakers at the events who presented their latest research works on case study. The Guest of honor and one of our guest speakers at the event, Dr. Annika Forsander (director of immigration Affairs) guided us through on the topic of migrants and immigration in Helsinki Finland. Dr. Forsander explores the trends of migration of immigrants to Helsinki, their challenges and opportunities and proffered some solutions on how immigrants can be integrated fully in the system. Dr. Annika also in her presentation urged foreigners to learn Finnish language as part of the integration process.

The Global coordinator Mr. Anthony-Claret Onwutalobi of University of Helsinki, Finland in his welcome speech reminded the Finnish authorities that are currently seeking to become more immigration friendly that “a good integration program for the existing immigrants would be a good step to achieving such goal.” Mr. Claret also in his remark reminded the participants that as they explore the future of their very existence here in Finland, they equally need to look for long term solution to the problem they have in their various African countries. He therefore urged them to mobilize all their forces and use their strength in numbers to strive actively, as the architects of their own future, to change the circumstances which contribute to poverty, unemployment, human right abuses, and lack of democracy in Africa which could also jeopardize their very future.

The workshop included three plenary talks on the followings topics:

Immigration, immigrants and the city of Helsinki by Dr. Annika Forsander (Director of Immigration Affairs Helsinki Finland),

Immigrants and Integration process through entrepreneurship in Finland -Dr. Evariste Habiyakare (Haaga-Helia University of Applied Science), and

Intercultural communications Skills by Mrs. Oge Eneh(Culture producer CAISA International Cultural Center), respectively.

A number of parallel oral sessions and poster sessions provided the main exchange forum for participants to present and discuss the latest issues and research findings. The Global Coordinator  Mr. Anthony-Claret Onwutalobi, and the very able organizing team (including Mr. Onyeka Nnaemeka , Omorose Osarumwense, Bernard Otulugbu, Wiston Eddie, Efe , Williams Nwokedi, Philemon Usman ,all members of Codewit Global Network , Helsinki Chapter ), had put together a rich  program as well as a series of social events that provided networking opportunities for the participants.

The workshop was highlighted by the workshop banquet where participants had the opportunity to taste varieties of Finnish and African snacks and delicacies). For those who had the privilege to attend the three sessions , the debate and the informative presentations had all proven to be unforgettable! The workshop ended with a song by Mrs. Cecilia

The next workshop will be in Helsinki, and Tampere Finland! Stay tuned for further news!
