Read Time:1 Minute, 21 Second

The tenth episode of the Shine Ya Eye Reunion finally addressed one of the season’s most famous triangles.

Since the end of the season 6 show, the JayPaul, Saskay and Cross dynamics have suffered irrevocable setbacks that have ruined any chance of remaining friends.

Here are the highlights, in case you missed them:

Jaypaul vs Saskay

During the reunion show, Jaypaul accused Saskay of making an infamous comment in the lines of not knowing who he was. JayPaul also cited instances where he repeatedly made moves to maintain a healthy friendship with her but she was hellbent on denying him “more times than Judas denied Jesus Christ.”

Reacting, Saskay claimed Jaypaul was being untruthful and had high expectations from a relationship that they never labelled.

Cross vs Saskay

The BBNaija star also revealed that he rejected N20m from fans who wanted him to be in a relationship with Saskay. He said that he rejected the deals because he wanted to be on his own.

In response, Saskay did not deny his accusations but added that Cross only apologized for the voice note that leaked. Cross and Saskay confirmed the crash of their once rosy friendship after Ebuka Uchendu asked the both of them if their relationship is truly over.

Big Brother Africa 2014: What’s eating up Goitse

0 0
Read Time:54 Second

In the morning Goitse took refuge in the garden, hid behind her sunglasses, kept to herself and also kept conversation to a minimal. Whether moping or troubled her eyes, we reckon, told a deeper tale of sadness. She sure got us wondering and maybe even worrying.

This was shaping up to be the toughest week that Goitse has ever faced inside the house being nominated for the first time since week one. This little fact was clawing away at her and keeping a dark cloud over her head. She could be seen mulling about the house aimlessly.

There was also the issue of Sipe. Ever since she woke up in another one of her detached moods on Tuesday morning and showed her bestie Sipe an ice-cold shoulder things were decidedly strained. In a precious diary session with spunky-funky Figgie she revealed that Sipe seemed to be keeping a distance. But could she blame Sipe after the poor girl fumbled around in the dark trying to find the reason that her bestie had now shut her out?

Read Time:50 Second

Another interesting task is at hand and housemates will have to showcase some Selfie taking skills courtesy of Tecno Mobile Phantom Z. The task is all about capturing the moment, picking the right light, striking the best pose and a peace sign.

Housemates were given the opportunity to photograph themselves as many times as possible in the Phantom Z Selfie Booth provided.

Housemates were provided with a colourful array of props and trinkets to be used when they take their selfies. All selfies were to display the use of the accessories. Housemates also had to wear their Tecno Mobile Tshirts.

As soon as the announcement was made clear, housemates were head over hills and it took no time for the likes of Ellah to grab all they needed to take the Selfies. HoH Sipe went in next and took a couple of shots, Ellah clearly hadn’t had enough and thus joined Sipe and the pair kicked off a Selfie taking session.

Big Brother Africa 2014: When Trezagah and Sheillah faced off!

0 0
Read Time:54 Second

So finally the gentle Trezagah came out of his shell but it seems for the wrong reasons as he faced off with Sheillah over what the ‘bossy lady’ deemed unnecessary shouting. It all started when Tayo launched into a prompt shout out to family and friends something he and Trezagah did at the top of their voices. This got to the ladies (Goitse,Samantha and Sheillah) with Sheillah coming out to stop the drama.

Sheillah had had enough and facd off with the boys telling them off and emphasizing that it was not called for for them to make lots of noise all in the name of sending greetings back home. Samantha wondered why Tayo who’s always “himself” was all of a sudden acting up and playing for the cameras.

It’s at this moment that Trezagah lost his usual reserved and cool self and thus insults started coming from both sides, Trezagah later told the boys that he would put Sheillah in her place if she didn’t go slow on him

Big Brother Africa 2014: Gone but not forgotten!

0 0
Read Time:1 Minute, 22 Second

They came, they saw, they conquered and stayed on our minds courtesy of their unique and interesting personalities, that’s the least we can describe our 12 ‘fallen’ Hotshots. Big Brother is an interesting show so to say, unfortunately when one gets ‘addicted’, they are hurt to the core as soon as their favorites walk the exit door even though it’s well known that at some point housemates will be evicted until just a few remain in the final week.

When it come to Big Brother Hotshots, the story doesn’t differ that much as the show saw 26 enthusiasts enter the house and after almost 6 weeks, 12 housemates have since been evicted leaving the house with only 14 as the finale edges closer. Today, we’d like to go down memory lane and remember the housemates that have since been booted out since week one.

Zambian Resa was the first to be shown the exit door after 7 days on the show, she was followed a few minutes later by Mozambican beauty Mira who’s famously remembered to have ‘stolen’ the heart of Namibian Luis who spent a bigger part of the show crying out to her and wanting out at some point.

The second week saw the first shocker of the season as three housemates were evicted, the fact that all the three were ladies simply added salt to the wound as the flowers seemed to be wilting. These were Nigeria’s twerker Lilian, Uganda’s Esther ‘small pepper’ and Kenyan comedienne Sabina

Read Time:54 Second

There is nothing that irritates me more than a guy trying to get a woman’s attention and mac on her…and the woman is not interested and then the guy starts insulting her…/smh\,” this is the way Mandla feels about men who cross the line.

The BBMzansi winner shared the touching message on Facebook reasoning that if a man hits on a woman and she’s not interested, then there’s no need for the man to start insulting her, in short, one should be able to take a NO for an answer.

Meanwhile, Mandla paid a courtesy surprise call on her alleged beau Lexi and from the photos making rounds on social media, the pair had a blast and it seems what some fans are craving for may just happen.
