Herbal Pro, an herbal solution company that focuses on providing prevention and improvements to the most prevalent illnesses and diseases through herbal products is set on improving the health of Nigerians by providing easy access to health-related information via Nigeria’s first online health and wellness newsletter.

A previous study by Herbal Pro Limited showed that 89% of people suffering from high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases and diabetes are either overweight or obese. The study also observed that people within the proper BMI (Body Mass Index) tend to manage and recover faster than those who are overweight.

A previous research by Herbal Pro pointed to the lack of insight about healthy living as one of the causes of obesity in Nigeria and the introduction of the online newsletter is aimed at providing information and advice on how to improve health through healthy living.

There has been a significant increase in the level of Internet usage in Nigeria. The internet is a key avenue for researching and passing on information. Being a company that is into health and wellness, we would like to use the newsletter as another avenue to educate, inform and advise Nigerians on how best to live a healthy life. We believe that a healthy lifestyle goes a long way to reducing cases of illnesses.”

He also stated that subscribing to the newsletter is free. All you need to do is contact Herbal Pro via the phone numbers on the Herbal Pro website or via EZSlimNG social media handles.

Being obese or overweight exposes us to a lot of health-relatedissues. I advise every Nigerian to take healthy living seriously.

Herbal Pro is also looking at starting up new initiatives such as the introduction of other herbal remedies aimed at improving health and wellness and a contact center where people can speak with nutritionists, health and wellness coaches for free.

Saudi Arabia on the eve of an impending coup against Crown Prince

0 0
Read Time:1 Minute, 10 Second

As Saudi Prince Meshaal bin Abdulaziz made up a plan to receive a huge amount of money to topple Crown Prince Muhammad bin Nayef and elevate Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman to the position of Crown Prince, Saudi Arabia seems to be preparing for of an impending coup d’état.

After disputes surged over the appointment of the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, Meshaal bin Abdulaziz, who is the former chairman of Saudi Arabia’s Allegiance Commission, decided to leave the country. King Salman then wrote him a letter and asked to return. Meshaal bin Abdulaziz demanded a large sum of money as a precondition for his returning to the country so that he could implement Muhammed bin Salman’s plan of rising to a higher position.

Till now, Muhammed bin Salman has gained 28 of 40 Allegiance Commission votes and certainly has no obstacle to achieve power. The matter is not about the time or the change of coup process, what matters more is the time of announcing the coup and delegating the rule to bin Salman.

On December 2015, after having been dismissed from the post of the crown prince and being replaced by Muhammad bin Nayef (Muhammad bin Salman being appointed to the position of deputy crown prince), something that was attributed to the Allegiance Commission, Meshaal bin Abdulaziz left Saudi Arabia for Switzerland.

UK, US plan to ‘tear down’ EU with Saudi dollars, says Spanish envoy to KSA

0 0
Read Time:1 Minute, 43 Second

Spain’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia Joaquín Pérez-Villanueva described the recent visit of British Prime Minister Theresa May to the Arab kingdom as a shared decision by Britain and the United States to ‘tear down’ the European Union, adding the two countries is in need of Saudi dollars for their plan to be fulfilled.

He said that arms delivered to terrorists by Saudi Arabia are imported from Britain and crises in Yemen and Syria in which Saudi Arabia is involved, gave the British prime minister a chance to travel to the kingdom and engage in negotiations with the country’s officials in order to investigate ways of boosting arms exports under the pretext of ensuring security and supporting Saudi Arabia against regional threats.

The ambassador went on to say that Britain views Saudi Arabia as a cash cow as it has vast oil resources that create great opportunities in the country through which it can contribute to boosting the UK economy. Since Saudi Arabia is Britain’s biggest trading partner in the Middle East, he added, Theresa May is seeking to enhance trade and strategic relations between the two countries so that she may prevent any collapse in Britain’s economy following the completion of Brexit.

In the meantime, Pérez-Villanueva stresses that boosting of ties between the two nations will benefit Saudi Arabia, too, and it will bring about major political, economic, and social benefits for the country such as pulling it out of the whirlpool of war in Yemen and domestic economic crisis. He stated that Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman is in urgent need of this mutual cooperation in order to realize his ambitious Vision 2030 Plan.

At the end, Pérez-Villanueva anticipated that Muhammad bin Salman will strike major military deals with Britain in order to access international waters through Oman and Yemen so that his country could exert its full control over the two countries on its way to international waters.

Works start on Qatara World Cup final venue

0 0
Read Time:2 Minute, 27 Second

DOHA: Work has begun on Lusail Stadium, the 80,000-seater venue that will host the Qatar 2022 World Cup final, tournament organizers in the Gulf have said. Allowing cameras onto the site for the very first time, officials said they hoped the stadium would be completed by 2020.

Lusail, which is some 20 kilometers north of the capital Doha, will also host the opening game of the 2022 tournament.

Ground is currently being cleared on the 1-million-square-meter site, but would soon begin to resemble the stadium the whole world will see in five years’ time, project manager Tamim Loutfi Elabed said.

“Foundations will go in later this year,” he said. “If you dropped by to visit us the same time next year, you would be happy.”

Despite the early stages, the pitch’s center circle, where the $200 billion tournament will kick off, has already been identified and marked out with barriers.

Elabed said it was “symbolic” as well as “a surveying point.”

Eventually, up to 7,000 workers will be employed on site.

“At the moment we’re still in the early mobilization stages so we haven’t hit the first thousand. We’re at about 500 workers,” he added.

Since being chosen as the 2022 host, Qatar has come under heavy criticism for the treatment of its migrant workforce, claims which it has largely denied. As well as being built from scratch, Lusail Stadium is itself part of a completely new $45 billion city taking shape in the desert outside Doha.

There was nothing on the site prior to it being selected as the venue for the World Cup final, though it is apparently close to one of Qatar’s first recorded settlements.

The stadium is being developed in a joint venture between a Qatari and Chinese company. The design, likely to be revealed later this year, is being undertaken by renowned British architects, Foster and Partners.

As well as the stadium, construction work has also begun on a nearby metro station – part of an ongoing $18 billion light railway project – which fans will use during the tournament. Although FIFA has not yet made a final decision on how many stadiums will be used during 2022, there will be at least eight venues.

Up to $10 billion will be spent on stadium infrastructure costs, Qatar’s senior World Cup organizer Hasan al-Thawadi, has said.

Qatar is spending almost $500 million every week on major infrastructure projects for football’s biggest tournament, Doha’s government said earlier this year.

Lusail Stadium could potentially be used in 2021 as a venue for the Club World Cup. Qatar is in talks with FIFA about hosting the tournament in four years’ time, as a rehearsal event for the World Cup.

Why is Gov. Wike taking Rivers people for fools? – Asks Rivers APC

0 0
Read Time:2 Minute, 18 Second

No sooner Gov Nyesom Wike was sworn in as governor of Rivers State than he embarked on indiscriminate borrowing at cut-throat interest rate from Nigerian commercial banks. The borrowing spree was carried out irrespective of the fact that the matter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Governorship Candidate, Dr. Dakuku Peterside contesting the emergence of Gov. Wike was still subsisting in court.

FED ALLOCATIONS: Gov. Wike should tell the truth for once

0 0
Read Time:2 Minute, 16 Second

…At the time Amaechi left office, R/S was getting less than N10b monthly allocation

The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State is dismayed that two years after the 2015 elections, Gov. Nyesom Wike is still carrying on with his style of campaigns full of bare-faced lies and misrepresentation of facts to unsuspecting Rivers people.

The governor yesterday (Sunday) told the Synod of Anglican Church in the house of God that the administration of Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi was receiving between N27b and N30b monthly federal allocation while the present federal government has cut the allocation for the State under his administration. He blamed the alleged move on attempts to sabotage his government.

Firstly, if the Amaechi administration received anything close to N25b during his 8-year tenure it must be for less than 6 months in his first tenure when Nyesom Wike was Chief of Staff to former Gov. Chibuike Amaechi. That was when oil price was at its highest and the over 300 oil wells taken away by the Goodluck Jonathan government were still property of Rivers State.

For more than three years of the Amaechi second tenure after Soku and other oil wells had been taken and transferred to other states coupled with dwindling oil prices and production levels, the government then was receiving less than N10b monthly allocations up till 2015.

If Gov. Wike is receiving less than N10b allocations today, he is in part responsible for the fate the State is facing. He encouraged the Jonathan administration to take away Rivers oil wells believing that he was undoing Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi. It would be recalled that the former governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi had earlier warned Gov Wike of what he (Wike) is complaining about today. Now, the chicken has come to roost, Gov. Wike should deal with it and save us his display of verbal indiscretion.

More significantly is the fact that Gov. Nyesom Wike, having successfully concealed the budgets of Rivers State from the people for the second year, has also refused to tell Rivers people that Rivers State last month received the highest sum of N14.5b Paris Loan Refund from the Buhari administration.

Instead of applauding the Buhari government for several bailouts funds, prompt refunds and general concern for the finances of states of Nigeria, Rivers State inclusive, Gov. Wike has rather chosen to bite the finger that feeds him. This is not surprising; after all, the governor has always been that especially to his benefactor, Chibuike Amaechi.

The APC believes that Gov. Nyesom Wike is merely diverting attention from being transparent with the finances of Rivers State by making misleading statements to Rivers people even in the hallowed ouse of God.

Meeting between Rivers APC Leader, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi and party youths went well

0 0
Read Time:1 Minute, 0 Second

In view of telephone calls by members of the media inquiring about the meeting between the leader of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and select youths of APC from across the 23 LGAs of the State took place as scheduled and issues outlined for discussion exhaustively dealt with.

The APC uses this medium to assure our media partners and the general public that the meeting was a closed strategic one and not meant for media coverage.

We reassure our media friends and the general public that any speculation that there was rancour and unruly behaviour by the youths is unfounded and totally untrue. Even more ludicrous is the rumour that any group engaged in booing while the meeting lasted. That is a lie taken from the pit of hell.

The APC re-iterates that no such thing took place. May be it happened in the infantile imagination of naysayers and discredited propagandists of PDP. The meeting between the Hon. Minister of Transportation and the youths of APC went well and there was no basis for any unruly argument or discord between the Minister who was the convener of the meeting and the youths.
