2023: You are No Match for Atiku-PDP Mocks Tinubu

0 1
Read Time:2 Minute, 48 Second

…Says Tinubu is Desperate for Keys to the Nation’s Treasury
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) mocks Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for clinching at a very great price, the Presidential ticket of the moribund, decrepit and crippled All Progressives Congress (APC), which has since served out its purpose as a fraudulent contraption that brought in the failed, corrupt and rudderless administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Our Party also sympathizes with Asiwaju for embarking on a journey to nowhere as he is no match for PDP’s more popular, more competent and more prepared Presidential Candidate, His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar the unifier and the people’s choice, who defeated President Buhari fair and square in the 2019 Presidential election.
Asiwaju will soon realize that Nigeria is not one of his acquired estates or fiefdoms and that the Nigerian people are not his political string-puppets and retinue of lackies, from whom he bought the APC Presidential ticket.
Asiwaju will also soon realize that Nigerians hold him responsible for his self-confessed role in installing the failed Buhari-led administration that subjugated the people, brought excruciating economic hardship, acute poverty, bloodletting, terrorism, mass killings, promoted disunity, tribalism and nepotism, lawlessness, massive treasury looting and unpardonable life-discounting experiences to our country.
It is indeed reprehensible that Asiwaju, after being handed an APC flag that refused to unfold in recognition of the gloomy times of the APC, did not demonstrate any form of remorse for the injuries he engineered and caused our nation in the last seven years.
His failure to express empathy for the victims of violence, kidnapping, mass killings and acts of terrorism, especially the recent gruesome attack in a sacred place of worship, St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo in Ondo State serves as a foretaste of the big cover up and harrowing experience that Nigerians will face, God forbid, should Asiwaju emerge as President in 2023.
His acceptance speech further exposed his manifest lack of capacity, presence of mind, resourcefulness and selflessness to manage the affairs of a nation as complex as Nigeria.
From Asiwaju’s egotistic outbursts before and after the APC manipulative National Convention, it is crystal clear that his life-long dream of clinching the APC Presidential ticket is not for the wellbeing of Nigerians but out of desperation to lay hands on the keys to the nation’s treasury.
Asiwaju has insulted the sensibilities of Nigerians enough and this APC National Convention will be his final political outing. This is because Nigerians have had enough and are now, more than ever before, ready and out on the platform of the PDP to defend our nation and reject Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu in the 2023 Presidential election.
The Nigerian politics is far more complex and beyond the Lagos politics where Asiwaju operates with brawl and deployment of violence rather than brain.
What Nigerians needs now is a unifier in the face of the pain and discomfort inflicted on them by Bola Ahmed Tinubu, his live band of APC looters and mean human beings. He needs to know that Nigeria is not Lagos!
The PDP therefore charges Nigerians to continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with our Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, their choice President in this mission to Rescue, Redirect and Rebuild our nation from the misrule of Asiwaju and his APC.

Hon. Debo Ologunagba
National Publicity Secretary

Are you ready for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to take office in 2023?

0 0
Read Time:39 Second

My former protégé, who is now an international broadcaster and is deeply embedded in Nigeria’s political circles, told me three months ago that Atiku would win the PDP nomination and Tinubu would be the APC’s candidate against all odds.

Although he is close to both camps and his reasons for his prognosis were compelling, I was sceptical.

With Tinubu almost certain to win the APC’s ongoing presidential primary election despite the roadblocks erected by the Aso Rock cabal, he called me today to say Tinubu would defeat Atiku by a narrow margin to become president. Tinubu, President?

He said Kwankwaso will eat into Atiku’s votes in Kano and that Igbo people will vote for Peter Obi, which would make Atiku electorally vulnerable. I’ve learned not to ignore him.

The Owo Church Massacre has vindicated me – Sunday Igboho, Activist

0 0
Read Time:56 Second

Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho, a Yoruba Nation activist, has responded to the terrorist attack on St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State, which killed scores of people

Remember that gunmen were said to have thrown an improvised explosive device before beginning to shoot sporadically.

In response to the unfortunate incident, Igboho said in a viral audio clip, “I pray to God that we do not experience such again.” I beseech God to console the victims’ families.

My fathers and mothers, can you see that I have been vindicated? I was not in a battle with any Governor or Senator. But what I envisaged, you didn’t see it. Now, can you all see? Many were saying I wanted to create a crisis and foment trouble, but can you all see it now? Well, the situation can still be redeemed. I want Yoruba people to be united before it is too late.

I want South-West leaders to support me and other courageous Yoruba sons and daughters so that we can guard against these wicked acts. Please, If I offend anyone, I ask for pardon,” he said.

Where is the justice in the APC Presidential Primary? Nnamani and Onu have questions. APC

0 0
Read Time:41 Second

Senator Ken Nnamani and Dr Christopher Ogbonnaya Onu, both from the South East, have questioned the decision of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC’s national leadership to abandon zoning in the race for the party’s presidential ticket.

Addressing delegates at the Special Convention and Presidential Primary of the APC Tuesday in Abuja, they wondered why the party which had insisted on zoning during its March 26 national convention where it elected a national chairman of northern extraction would now turn round to discard zoning.

Nnamani had earlier withdrawn from the race citing injustice.

Onu on his part recalled how in the formative years of the APC, he had discarded his presidential ticket from the defunct All Nigerian Peoples Party ANPP in order to work with like-minded people to ensure that the party won the presidency in 2015.

If you have the opportunity to leave Nigeria, please do so as quickly as possible – Azuka Onwuka

0 0
Read Time:2 Minute, 9 Second

When I graduated from the university in 1994, the American visa lottery program (Diversity Visa) was on and new, having been established by the US Immigration Act of 1990.
Some friends applied and got it, but somehow I was not passionate about it.
Why?
Even with all the military misrule and instability caused by the June 12, 1993, presidential election annulment, somewhere in my subconscious, I believed that Nigeria would turn around. I felt it was not patriotic to leave Nigeria.

I searched for a job and got one and focused on my career.
When I got my first visa to the US, some friends and kinsmen asked me if I would return to Nigeria. I said with certainty that I would return within a week. And I did.
The same thing happened when I went to the UK some years earlier. I was eager to return home.

Note that all this while, I was not working in any big company or holding any political or government post. My salary was so-so – just enough to take care of my basic needs.
When the Canadian permanent resident program started in 2002, after the 2001 passage of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, I was also not interested because somewhere in my subconscious, I didn’t want to give up on Nigeria. Close friends and family members left, but I refused to apply.
I don’t like regretting my actions, because I usually don’t act based on impulse. I act with deep conviction. But looking back, it was a bad decision not to leave Nigeria.
Leaving Nigeria is not a lack of patriotism. It is a matter of finding personal peace and happiness. Nigeria is a killer of dreams. Also, life means very little in Nigeria. When someone is killed, people exclaim for a few minutes and then face other issues. Life continues.

Forget how much you earn or how comfortable you are in Nigeria; if you have the opportunity to leave Nigeria, please do so as quickly as possible.
You alone cannot salvage Nigeria. There is no sign that Nigeria even wants to be salvaged.
When and if Nigerians are ready to salvage Nigeria, they will do so, if it is still possible to do so.
But if you are still in Nigeria, make sure you obtain your voter’s card and vote for your conscience during any election, without listening to what naysayers and those who love to maintain the status quo say.

When the situation of things is bad, all options can be explored.
May God continue to protect us all.

Just in: Social media comedienne, Madam Social, is dead

0 0
Read Time:1 Minute, 10 Second
The social media comedienne, Madam Social, is dead. She died on Tuesday, 7th of June 2022.
Her death was announced on her Instagram page. “She can’t be gone! How do I witness that laughter of yours?”, the post read.

Madam Social, said to be from Anambra state (I thought she was from Ebonyi), used the rest of her old age to entertain the world, as if she knew her time on earth was limited.
Madam Social, a natural comedienne, had a unique way of describing everything without offending anyone.
Some of her videos are educational for me, while others do not speak to me.
I frowned but didn’t say anything when her church-sanctioned her for entertaining, informing, and persuading through her gift, knowing that religion kills the best in people with outdated indoctrination.
It is unfortunate that Madam Social has passed away.

She will be sleeping beneath and will never awaken in this mortal body again.
Death, like Madam Social’s, is always unexpected. Only when we know who died do we realize how unexpected death is.
Her death has dealt a blow to the world of comedy, and death is always arrogant because no one can bring it to be judged.
Madam Social will undoubtedly be missed. With her rib-cracking words that have now become little stars in our subconscious minds, she made the face of our time shine.

Video: APC house of commotion during the Convention 2022 in Abuja

0 0
Read Time:46 Second

ADAMS Oshiomhole, immediate past Governor of Edo State, may have emerged unopposed as the new National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), but the party’s national convention was held on Saturday at the Eagle’s Square, Abuja, was largely characterized by anger and violence.

Many observers say the development did not come as a surprise, especially given that the recently held state congresses were also marred by violence.

A video clip shared on Twitter by Channels Television showed the two factions of the APC in Imo State – one loyal to Governor Rochas Okorocha, and the other loyal to his deputy, Eze Madumere, who has also announced his intention to run for the post of the governor  – exchanging blows and throwing plastic chairs at one another.

According to the report, the free-for-all went on while President Muhammadu Buhari was delivering his speech.

What I heard and saw about Peter Obi at the airport that made me feel embarrassed – Rev. Yinka Yusuf

1 0
Read Time:1 Minute, 17 Second

Reverend Yinka Yusuf, a Christian evangelist and founder of Household of Love Church, revealed how he was embarrassed at the airport where he saw Presidential Aspirant, Peter Obi, several years ago in a post released on his official Facebook account about an hour ago.
When people say Peter Obi has no structure, he responds by saying that he is one of his structures.

He recalled travelling from Abuja to Lagos several years ago. And, as an evangelist, he was accompanied by an entourage.

So he was at the airport in Abuja and was about to board his flight. As he walked through the tarmac with one of the FAAN staff pulling his luggage behind him, he turned to see someone who resembled Governor Peter Obi holding his luggage tightly in his hand.

He said he asked the guy holding his luggage to confirm the identity of the person he saw if he truly was Governor Peter Obi, and the guy told him he was the one and he’d never allow anybody to hold his luggage for him.

Rev. Yusuf wrote:

“I felt so embarrassed for myself. I quickly collected my bag back, gave the protocol guy, gave him some money, and pulled my bag myself to the plane.” “Peter Obi did not open the Bible or quote any verse in the Bible, but he preached to me the greatest message I have ever heard on humility.”

Now I understand that leadership is by example, and humility is one of the greatest signs of a great leader.

Femi Fani Kayode’s estranged wife is overjoyed to see her children again.

0 0
Read Time:2 Minute, 33 Second

Precious Chikwendu, the estranged wife of Femi Fani- Kayode, the former Minister of Aviation, has expressed joy at reconnecting with her children after over two years apart.

The custody battle for their four children, who have been in their father’s custody, has been a contentious one.

Chikwendu complained in December 2021 that her ex-husband had thwarted all attempts to see her children over the previous year
“The children have been with him since August 2nd, 2020, and I haven’t seen them since.”
“I haven’t seen my children since August 2nd, 2020, and I’ve been physically stopped from visiting them,” she claimed.

Responding to the accusation, FFK countered his ex-wife, noting she had been granted access to the kids for over 17 months but had wilfully refused to visit them.

“Their mother has been given access to see them in the house for the last one year and five months, but she has refused to do so”, he said.

In a new development, the excited mother of four shared photos of beautiful moments with her boys, even if it was just for a few hours.

She appreciated everyone who showed concern while she was away with them.

The former beauty queen wrote: “Dear All, overtime I have learnt to keep my peace and focus on the things I aspire to achieve in my youthfulness rather than the ones that would derail me from my path, but I have to keep everyone updated on what is currently going on, especially for the people who have constantly prayed and fought with me when I was going through the worst time in my life.

“As a mother, my greatest prayer is being able to hug my kids, play with and spend time with them, no matter how little the time. Bearing in mind that God gave me a basic assignment in their lives as a watchman.

“This is a win for us all, I have gone from not seeing them AT ALL for 2 years to spending a few hours (Play Date)with them and also tending to one who wasn’t well as at the time I was reached. That is all that it is currently, but I believe their Father has a change of mind and is working out a process for peaceful co-parenting, as wars always have a long-lasting effect to both parties regardless.

“Please be patient with me as I am basking in this little joy and win for a little longer as well as soaking it all in as I figure a way to put all issues to rest without drama.

“Thank you all so very much for the messages and well wishes. Thanks to my concerned elders.

“Their Father (through his aides) and some good people around him are in talks to see to it that my children grow up having balanced love and affection from both sides.

“I am hoping this leads to an end in media wars and to a peaceful co-parenting as we move on to achieve our various destinies apart.”
