Codewit Mission & Vision

0 0
Read Time:1 Minute, 6 Second

Mission:

Many in the world are heralding the dawn of an “African Millennium” culturally and politically. Africa is poised to undergo more changes and wield more influence in the world than ever before. Until now, much of what is visually documented about Africa is a view from outside, seen through eyes that are not African and, in some cases, not Africa friendly. We believe that it is only Africans that can tell their stories to the world and in that manner will gain renewed respect and authentically express her promising future. Base on this background, Codewit World News was founded. Our mission is to provide a global voice for Africans to tell their own stories to the world.

Vision

As it is said, youth are the back bone of society. This is no different in Africa.  But sadly, African youth is left without a spine. In attempt to  mobilize African’s young minds, for them to believe and own their future not to mention pave the way for the next generation, it’s imperative  therefore, that they be exposed to an alternative media source. An information outlet designed to highlight the diabolical historical past of our colonial experience & ancestors with a vision of a New Africa. Codewit.com is the call to raise The Continent of Africa, Independent from global influences.

We offer online Services that make it easy for students and guests to build a New Social Order. We promote education as the only way of attaining Codewism Philosophy -: Mental emancipation, Economic determinism, Political freedom, Spiritual and social balance.

The goal of the foundation is to foster the spread of great ideas. It aims to provide a platform for the world’s smartest thinkers, greatest visionaries and most-inspiring teachers, so that millions of people can gain a better understanding of the biggest issues faced by the world, and a desire to help create a better future. Core to this goal is a belief that there is no greater force for changing the world than a powerful idea. Consider:

  • An idea can be created out of nothing except an inspired imagination.
  • An idea weighs nothing.
  • It can be transferred across the world at the speed of light for virtually zero cost.
  • And yet an idea, when received by a prepared mind, can have extraordinary impact.
  • It can reshape that mind’s view of the world.
  • It can dramatically alter the behavior of the mind’s owner.
  • It can cause the mind to pass on the idea to others.

Many factors can amplify the power of ideas: mass media, technology and market forces, to name three. So we believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world. Therefore we’re building here a clearinghouse that offers free knowledge and inspiration from the world’s most inspired thinkers.

Our Mission is to help build economically stable and productive societies in African communities by ensuring access to self-sustaining educational centers for its citizens and to establish functional literate communities in Africa to bridge the gap between poverty and prosperity.

Codewism Philosophy

0 0
Read Time:1 Minute, 14 Second

Codewism was founded in the spirit of finding a  Pragmatic solution of  African emancipation from western coercion and enslavement, which has dwindled African growth for over five centuries.

It is the system of philosophical thought attributed to Anthony-Claret Onwutalobi, the founder of Codewit Global organization and the president of Codewit Association. Claret expanded on this philosophy through his recent works “The new Africa (2009) to be published

Overview

Codewism is characterized by eight principles for African liberation

Afro- Jingoism: To be a true patriot and defender of African values and culture without any apprehension or timidity

Mental emancipation: To be knowledgeable of African history and accomplishments, and to dismiss any kind of complex exhibited by any race or tribe.

Self-government: To expel from one’s self the notion that other world or country could help to solve African problem or help in governing African people

Self dependent: To believe in one’s self and to believe that one has full capacity and the ability and potential  to fend for oneself and expel any notion of seeking for pity or aid from foreign world

Economic determinism: To realize that being self-sufficient economically is the basis for rescuing the Renascent African.

Political renaissance: To regain the sovereignty that Africa has lost to colonialists.

Community integration: To expel from one’s self national, religious, racial, tribal, political-economic, and ethical prejudice.

Religious tolerance: To show empathy for other peoples views, and recognize their right to hold such views.
