A panel of judges representing Codewit Editors and the Codewit Board determines the recipient on overall literary merit and visitors votes.

In writing about his vision for the future Nigeria, Akintokunbo notes:
 …At this moment I believe that I write about Nigeria because I am Nigeria and Nigerian. I am one of the country’s eyes. I am one of the country’s mouths. I am Nigeria’s ears and most definitely I am her soul. I am Nigeria’s conscience also. I am her ambassador and everything I do both within and abroad will reflect either negatively or positively on Nigeria. Without me, my sight, my voice, my thoughts, there is no Nigeria. And if I am silent, then so is Nigeria. This applies to many other really committed writers and publishers of Nigerian affairs too...

Akintokunbo Adejumo is a committed  member and author of  Codewit global network. Mr. Adejumo  writings were enriched by an encyclopedic knowledge of Nigeria’s modern political history. He writes on topical issues published in newspapers and internet medias. I believes in the emergence of a new  Africa. A single alteration of mass consciousness is what is needed to change Africa in a twitch—if we have potential, then we are not miserable and poor. No society is static, each is constantly evolving. And as thus, our ideas are only contributing chips.
