Helsinki: Second Coming Of Nigerian Immigration Officials for Data Collection!

The Embassy of Nigeria, Stockholm wishes to inform all Nigerians resident in Helsinki of another opportunity for the data capture exercise for issuance of Electronic Passport (e-passport) by Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) officials.
The exercise is scheduled as follows:

Date: 1st. Dec. 2010 (Wed.) — 2nd.Dec.2010 (Thursday)

Place: Sornaisten rantatie 33 D, 3rd Floor.
To accommodate all interests groups, the exercise is expected to commence by 11am on wednesday, while the officers shall announce the opening time for the next day.

Payment of USD110 (One hundred and ten USD) only for one e-passport should be made through the Immigration website www.immigration.gov.ng. You are expected to provide the evidence of payment. The data could be capture now while payment can be made later. However, the e-passport can only be produced when payment is made. If you cannot fill the form online, you meet the immgration officers to process your application manually. In this case you would be required to provide a passport photograph and payment can be made in cash.

All Nigerians are eligible for the data capture exercise: both holders and non-holders of the old passport are expected to take part in the exercise.

NB: Those who did earlier but have not collected theirs are expected to come also as the Embassy will bring them along.
