Ebola: People in France Don’t shake me anymore- Enyeama cries out

Nigeria’s Super Eagles number one shot stopper, Vincent Enyeama, has commended the Nigerian government for its ability in fighting the dreaded Ebola virus in the country and the World Health Organization’s (WHO) effort in supporting the country and the declaration of the country free of the virus.The Nigeria’s captain revealed to Africanfootball.com that anytime he returns to his club after international duty, he is always been secluded and kept under serious observation because of fear of the Ebola Virus.

“My club monitors me for three weeks any time I return from Nigeria because of Ebola and nobody wants to sit around you or shake you then,” said Enyeama.Enyeama who also had earlier lend his voice to call on the Confederation of African Football (CAF), to shift the date of the Orange Cup competition, noted that if he was CAF, he would have postponed the competition.

The player explained that the virus is not easy to contain but stressed that no matter what, if Nigeria qualifies for the competition, he will gladly honour his country’s call to duty.Meanwhile, Super Eagles goalkeeper trainer, Ike Shorunmu has revealed that No 1 the shot stopper would undergo a late fitness test to know if he would be ready for the AFCON qualifier against Congo this weekend.Ike confirmed that Enyeama has suffered a slight shoulder injury when he featured for French Ligue 1 side Lille in a recent game
