Bayern Munich on Wednesday night inflicted a UEFA Champions' League heavy defeat Shakhtar Donetsk in a 7-0 massacre of the Ukrainian side.
With the first leg having been a goalless draw, Bayern Munich came into the second leg with a mission to destroy. And they did just that.
The match turned in Bayern's advantage when Shakhtar defender Olexandr Kucher, was shown a straight red.
The first goal came as early as the 4th minute from Muller before Shakhtar could settle into the match. Bayern dominated for most of the game and rounded off the night on their home turf, The Allianz Arena, with a final goal from Mario Gotze in the 87th minute.
They now progress to the Quarter-Finals of the Champions League.
