The traditional ruler of Ulakwo autonomous community in Owerri North LGA HRH Eze Sir Raphael Nnanna Oparaochakwe and other traditional rulers in the area have dissociated themselves from a report in one of the Imo-based tabloids purporting that they are spoiling for war against the state governor, Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha because of the impeachment moves against the deputy governor Sir Jude Agbaso who also hails from Owerri North.

Speaking to journalists in two separate interviews the chairman of Owerri North council of Ndieze HRH Eze Dr. Emmanuel Okoro, Ezeoha II of Ihitta Oha and the traditional ruler of Ulakwo autonomous community Eze Nnanna expressed surprise and embarrassment at the report which they said must have been sponsored by some people using the Ezes to curry sympathy for the embattled deputy governor.

While advising journalists to verify their facts very well before going to press, the traditional rulers of Owerri North pledged their unalloyed loyalty to the state governor Rochas Anayo Okorocha describing him as an action governor whose rescue mission agenda is indeed transforming the state to the glory of God.

It will be recalled that the midweek edition of the Nigeria Newspoint dated March 13-14 had carried on the front page a story that states that the Ulakwo monarch is uniting other traditional rulers to fight governor Okorocha over the later's move to impeach his deputy Sir Jude Agbaso.
