Meanwhile, donations are pouring in for the traders of the market towards the reconstruction of the razed market, the biggest in the state.

The state governor, Mallam Isa Yuguda, at the weekend announced a personal donation of five trailers of cement for the reconstruction of the destroyed market, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the forthcoming February 2015 general election made a donation of N30million.

His All Progressives Congress (APC) counterpart, Alhaji Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, made a donation of N1million, while the party’s senatorial candidate for Bauchi South, Ali Wakili, also donated N1million.
