Lagos — In spite of the enormous infrastructural challenges Nigeria faces which has seen many a company flee to neighboring countries, Procter and Gamble (P&G), a laundry and other consumer goods manufacturing company, said it will rather sink with Nigeria than leave.

Speaking at a press briefing marking its 18 years of existence in Nigeria, managing director of the company, Mr. Manoj Kumar said on a global level, Africa is a major focus for P&G and within Africa Nigeria is among the fastest growing markets.

He said: “our plans are very focused on the long term and we are committed to continue investing in the future of Nigeria, working in partnership with the Nigerian government.

We plan to make Nigeria not just the business hub but the manufacturing hub for P& G in West Africa and beyond.”
