Oduamadi seemed to be the  worst hit as he was forced out of the match with an ankle strain and as at Friday afternoon he was still limping while Head Coach Stephen Keshi has urged medics to speed up the recovery process of his three key players.

The medical duo of Dr Ibrahim Gyaran and Wale Oladejo, (physiotherapist) have assured that they will work round the clock to ensure the players fitness for the Eagles next game.

Meanwhile, FIFA has asked the Nigerian side to forward to it the final destination points of all its players to it so as to prepare their tickets to their various club sides in case the team fails to make it to the semi finals. FIFA made the request on Friday.

“We have to make this public so that at the end of the day some of us in the team will not be accused of wishing the team bad in the middle of a tournament. It’s the norm in international tournaments to do that but there was hues and cries about it at AFCON 2013,” revealed Team Secretary Day Enebi Achor.
