Each of Ghanaâ€™s 23-man squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals will be paid an appearance of US$ 75,000. (N13m).
Sports Minister Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah has confirmed the amount remains unchanged from what was paid four years ago in South Africa.
â€Based on our discussion the government insist that we should maintain our bonuses and for the record, the 2010 figure was $75,000 and so we should maintain the 2010 figure because we are all going through challenges,â€ he told Accra-based Power FM.
â€[Winning bonuses] will also be maintained.â€
Cabinet over the weekend approved US$ 9.6m budget for Ghanaâ€™s participation for this Juneâ€™s tournament.
