Warri Wolves take on two players during the Super Four in Ijebu Ode. Sunday’s Federation Cup final between Enyimba of Aba and Warri Wolves is historic for both Nigerian Premier League clubs.
For Enyimba, who are the country’s most successful side in Africa, having won the flagship CAF Champions League title twice, the final of Nigeria’s oldest soccer competition holding at the Teslim Balogun offers them the chance to win the prized title for the third time,

Their previous wins were in 2005 and 2009 and were  final losers in 2010, when they were beaten 3-2 on penalties by Kaduna United  and again in 2011 , when they lost 1-0 to eastern rivals Heartland.
But  their chances of winning their third title has suffered a setback because some of their key forwards are cup-tied. It was gathered that Bishop Onyeudo, Daniel Etor, Emeka Nwanna and Victor Ezeji will miss the match because they have played this year’s competition for other teams.
However, Enyimba could still pick Ifeanyi Edeh, Chimezie Amanfor and Sibi Gwar in attack against  Wolves  For Wolves, this finale is their first since they were formed. With strong financial support of Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, Wolves go into the match determined to repay the Governor with a win, which would cap a remarkable year for the club, also in the running for the Premier League title.
Their Malian import, Adama Coulibaly, is also on the verge of sealing his place in the history boks if Wolves win the game.
Coulibaly, who joined Wolves in 2009, will be the only foreigner on parade on Sunday and said that he was looking forward to merging champions with the Warri-based outfit
” I’m looking forward to the final against Enyimba and hope that we will emerge victorious”, Coulibaly said.
