This is professed by those who live as if there is no God, life after death, retribution, reward and eventual accountable for acts not accounted for here in the world. If the moment one categorically asserts the non-existence of God then at least he will have laid down a measure for judging his action and conversely as one thinks he is a theist but always contradicts his theoretical affirmation of being atheist by his non-conformity way of life with the norms of God. This is where most modern day human beings fall.

There are different interpretations to this: firstly blatant hypocrisy as now bishop Michael Elue of issele – uku diocese put down in his article “the fool says in his heart there is no God”. According to bishop Elue, it is not difficult for them to recite “credo in Unum deum” but immediately after the God too “Should understand that we are human”. This group of atheists is where many Christians are found, especially some priests and religious and seminarians whom familiarity with God has bred contempt and God becomes a plaything.
