She said on their way home, the man took a different route and she protested, adding that the man struck her on the face, which made her scream for help before two persons came to her rescue.
“Immediately the men left, Friday traced me back to the road as I was looking for a vehicle to take me home and he beat me to a state of unconsciousness before throwing me into his car, which got locked immediately,” she added.
Francisca said her assailant forgot his key inside the locked vehicle and had to trek home to collect the spare and was arrested by the police, who brought him to the scene to verify his statement.
“The policemen rescued me and took me to the hospital, before arresting my assailant,” she stated.
Also speaking, the suspect said he paid the lady money to follow him home and that he thought she wanted to play smart hence he got rough on her.
He pleaded that the case be withdrawn; promising to pay for the damages caused the lady.
“I am a married man with two children and regret this action,” he said.
