ABEOKUTA—A chieftain of Social Democratic Party, SDP, in Ogun State and a senatorial candidate from Ogun Central, Senator  Gbenga Obadara, has said t*Obadarahat Ogun State indigenes and residents are under a terrible condition under the current administration of Governor Ibikunle Amosun.

Obadara, who said this in Abeokuta during the commissioning of some projects he facilitated during his four-year stewardship, claimed that the administration of Amosun has plunged the state into a frightening debt.

He said: “The essence of governance is to positively affect the lives of the citizenry by improving their standards of living but the reverse is the case in Ogun State. The citizenry are living in a very harsh condition.

Many can no longer fend for their families. Governance is not about impoverishing the governed  but the improvement of their standards of living.”
