Otega4Governor Campaign Organisation has faulted a statement credited to Coalition of Urhobo Nation Youth Leaders and Stakeholders, CUNYLS, calling on the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential running mate, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, to disassociate himself from the Chief Tuesday Onoge faction of the Urhobo Progress Union, UPU.

Director of Media and Political Communication of the campaign organisation, Dr. Fred Oghenesivbe, said that Anighoro was fully aware that the Uvwiamuge Declaration document does not have room for the Labour Party, LP, rather it was an offer to the two national parties, the APC and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for which APC accepted the UPU offer and gave Urhoboland the governorship candidate in the person of Olorogun O’tega Emerhor.

Oghenesivbe added that if Anighoro, UPU and Chief Omene were sure that LP was part of the bargain ab-initio and wanted Chief Great Ogboru of the Labour Party to fly the Urhobo flag during the elections, they ought to have presented him (Ogboru) the very first time they struck a deal with Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan and the PDP, adding that if David Edevwie had won the PDP primaries, then of course, Chief Ogboru would have been rejected by the UPU, Chief Omene and Anighoro’s group.

He stated that Anighoro’s group lacked the moral and legal justification to issue such ultimatum on Osinbajo.
