A new book on Hillary Clinton claims she underwent secret plastic surgery ahead of her current run for president.
Ed Klein writes in “Unlikeable” that Bill Clinton “wanted her to get a face-lift,” and “She couldn’t do anything about the calendar — she’d be 69 years old in 2016 — but she could do something about the lines and sagging skin on her face.”
But Klein claims, “She had no intention of going to a clinic,” and asked a well-known plastic surgeon to go to her house in Chappaqua, NY, where he set up a “mini operating room in her home with the latest medical equipment.”
“She had her cheeks lifted and her wrinkles and lines Botoxed . . . She had work done on her eyes as well as on her neck and forehead.”
Quoting one of Hillary’s friends, Klein continues, “She took it gradually and didn’t have anything drastic done, because she wanted to evaluate the changes as she proceeded. If it had started to make her look weird, she would have stopped it immediately. It was a pretty big deal and required multiple visits.”
Nick Merrill, Clinton’s spokesman, didn’t get back to us Monday night, but has said of Klein’s new book, “Someone should do a book about Ed. They could call it ‘Bulls - - t: The Problem With Anything Ed Klein Writes.’

Update at 6:33 p.m.: Former Texas Democratic gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis touted Hillary Clinton’s experience and grit, while castigating Texas Sen. Ted Cruz as “not fit to lead” during a coffee klatsch for Clinton in Austin Wednesday evening.
Speaking to about 40 people, Davis endorsed the former secretary of state’s presidential bid.
“Hillary has demonstrated for many years her exemplary ability to lead in the face of real challenges,” she said. “We need someone like that.”
Davis said that as the nation’s first female president, Clinton would “hopefully knit this Congress back together” and promote an agenda of “things that really matter to American families.”
Speaking with reporters, Davis blasted Cruz and other Republicans in Congress who are willing to force a government shutdown to prevent Planned Parenthood from receiving federal Medicaid funds of any kind.
“The idea that we are playing with people’s lives … in order to score political points with the extreme base of the Republican Party shows that Ted Cruz and others who are in agreement with him are absolutely not fit to lead this country,” she said.
Davis dismissed Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’ chances of catching Clinton in the Texas Democratic primary in early March. People remember Clinton and her husband Bill’s past work in and contributions to Texas, Davis said. She largely avoided answering a question about Vice President Joe Biden.

A pregnant woman in Portland, Oregon was hospitalized this week with extreme stomach pains, and doctors were shocked at what they discovered.
Mary Lambert, who is 8 months pregnant, went to Silverstein Memorial Hospital in Portland when she thought she might be going into labor. Doctors examined her, and initially could not figure out what was causing Lambert’s pain. After an ultrasound to check on her baby, they were taken aback to find that her unborn daughter was also pregnant.
“I have never in my life seen anything like this.” Said Dr. Joseph Goldsmith, a pediatric surgeon at Silverstein. “I don’t think anyone has. This is the first time that an unborn baby has become impregnated. It’s so far beyond rare that we didn’t know it was possible.”
Up until now, the youngest person to ever become pregnant was Lina Medina, a Peruvian girl who was just under 6 years old when she gave birth. Doctors were shocked at Medina’s diagnosis at the time, but it was later discovered that she had entered into Precocious puberty, which is a rare disorder that causes puberty in extremely young children. It won’t be possible to test Lambert’s unborn daughter for Precocious puberty until she is born. Even if she is found to have the rare disorder, it will still make her the youngest person to ever become pregnant.
Lambert and her husband, Carl, are naturally very worried about the safety of their baby.
“Doctors told us it was safe to have sex while I was pregnant. Several of my girlfriends told me that they did, and there were no problems at all.” Said Lambert. “We never thought this would happen. Carl is going to be a dad, and a grandpa all at once? I don’t – I mean, who can understand all this? I just worry that my baby won’t make it. Even if she does, I’m too young to be a grandmother.”
Lambert’s doctors say, unbelievably, that both babies seem to be very healthy. When Lambert gives birth to her baby next month, she will be about 6 months pregnant, and is looking at spending her first several months of life in the hospital as doctors determine how best to handle the situation.
“At this point, we don’t know whether Mary’s daughter will survive if she continues to sustain another life inside her.” Said Goldsmith. “All we know is that this is a very rare, very unusual case, and we are taking it day-by-day. So far, Mary and babies are doing fine.”

A woman confessed to killing her 3 sons because she felt her husband loved them more than he loved their 3-yr-old daugher.
Brittany Pilkington was charged with three counts of murder and has been jailed, according to police in Columbus.
Pilkington calmly called 911 to report her baby son wasn’t breathing on Tuesday.
Hours later, she confessed to killing him and her two other young sons over the past several months because her husband ignored their daughter, authorities said.
Pilkington is accused in Tuesday’s death of 3-month-old Noah and in the deaths of 4-year-old Gavin, who died in April, and 3-month-old Niall, who died in July 2014.
No working telephone number for the family’s home could be found, and no attorney information was available for the mother.
Police said officers went to the family’s apartment on Tuesday morning after an emergency call from the mother saying Noah wasn’t breathing.
They said she calmly answered a dispatcher’s questions while the baby’s sleep apnea alarm beeped in the background.
The baby was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Logan County prosecutor, William Goslee, said he interviewed Brittany Pilkington and she confessed to killing each of her sons by placing a blanket over his head and suffocating him.
“In her mind,” Goslee said, “she was protecting her daughter from being not as loved as the boys were by their father.”
The daughter, 3-year-old Hailey, was taken into custody by a county child welfare agency.
Authorities were already investigating what happened to Niall and Gavin, whose causes of death haven’t been determined.
In each of those cases, their father, Joseph Pilkington, found them unresponsive when he got home from work.
“Our son’s not breathing,” Brittany Pilkington said meekly to a dispatcher when she called police on April 6 as her husband frantically gave Gavin chest compressions. “He’s turning white.”
Joseph and Brittany Pilkington were cooperative on Tuesday before she eventually confessed to killing all three boys, police said.
“The tragic deaths of Niall, Gavin and Noah leave a pit in our stomachs today,” police Chief Brandon K. Standley said in a statement. “Our condolences go out to the remaining family members who have supported this family through a very difficult 13 months.”
Brittany Pilkington’s uncle, Joe Skaggs said Hailey and Noah had been with Logan County Children’s Services after Gavin’s death and were returned to their parents this month.
“Why would you give them back after a little boy just died and when you’re in the middle of an investigation?” Skaggs, standing in front of his niece’s apartment, told the Dispatch.
Goslee, the prosecutor, said Hailey and Noah were given back to their parents after a coroner determined Gavin’s and Niall’s deaths weren’t suspicious.
The Pilkingtons’ neighbor, James Breaston, was home, across the hall from the family, when Gavin died in April.
He remembered consoling a distraught Joseph Pilkington but finding Brittany Pilkington unperturbed.
“He was crying, the tears were rolling, and she was just cold,” Breaston told the Dispatch. “She just stared like nothing happened.”
He said that when saw police arrive on Tuesday morning he thought, “Oh, there’s another baby dead.”

A court in Arizona said on Tuesday that a man who admitted to decapitating his wife and her two dogs in a bloody incident in Phoenix said he was attempting to “get the evil out of her.’’
The prosecutor said Kenneth-Dale Wakefield, 43, also said he had smoked marijuana and the designer drug spice before the gruesome killings in a Phoenix apartment on July 25.
The prosecutor said Wakefield, a transient with a history of mental illness, was booked into a Maricopa County jail on Aug. 1 on one-count of first-degree murder and two counts of animal cruelty after being released from a local hospital.
The prosecutor said he was held on two million dollars bond and was expected to appear in court for a status conference on Aug. 7.
Police said in a court paper that Wakefield said during an interview that he stabbed his 49-year-old wife, Trina Heisch, multiple times before decapitating her and killed the dogs by cutting their heads off.
The police added in a probable cause statement filed in Maricopa County Superior Court that Wakefield said he was trying to get the evil out of Trina.
Police said the Phoenix man had severed his left arm at the elbow and gouged out one of his eyes before being discovered.
It said the blood-splattered scene was found by a neighbour who told police he was checking up on the couple because he knew the man had mental illness issues.
It said they entered the home and found the headless Heisch in a bedroom closet along with the two dogs.
The police said large amounts of blood was spread across the floors, cabinets and walls of the apartment, and several bloody knives were recovered.
The neighbour said when he opened the door of the apartment, he saw Wakefield naked, with part of his arm cut off and his right eye missing, then he called the police.
Meanwhile, investigators said both Wakefield and his wife had histories of mental illness, domestic violence and drug abuse.
The investigators said Wakefield was arrested in 2003 for attempting to kill a family member, while Heisch was arrested in March for domestic violence as she was alleged to have tried to stab Wakefield.
They said family members said during investigation that the two married after meeting in a mental health facility.

Joshua Vallum, a known gang member was arrested last month for allegedly stabbing to death a transgender girl in Mississippi.
Joshua Vallum, 28, was arrested on June 2, the day police recovered the body of 17-year-old transgender teen, Mercedes Williamson, buried in his father's backyard.
Vallum appeared in court today for a preliminary hearing in the murder case.
The murder case in a rural Mississippi town gained national attention last month, when Caitlyn Jenner mentioned Williamson as just one of the many transgender teens murdered in the U.S. this year.
Prosecutors say Vallum admitted to his father on June 1 that he killed someone and hid their body in the wooded area behind the house.
Vallum allegedly told police that the remains belonged to Williamson, and his admission was confirmed with a DNA analysis.
Since then, the member of the Latin Kings gang has been held on $1million bail for first-degree murder charges.
While the motivation behind the attack is still not known, police have said that they are looking into whether Williamson's status as a transgender woman may have played a role in her cruel end.
'We're looking at several different things. It could have been gang-related, it could have been a hate crime, we're not certain yet,' Shonna Pierce, public information officer for the George County Sheriff's office, said.
'We're still in the process of investigating this murder. Mercedes deserves justice and we're working diligently to make sure that she gets justice.'
'If that's the case, Vallum could face not only murder charges, but federal hate crime charges.'
At the time of her death, Williamson had apparently become estranged with her family and had moved to nearby Theodore, Alabama, where she was sleeping on the couch of 41-year-old friend, Jeanie Miller's trailer, since September.
Miller says the last time she saw Williamson was on May 30, around 2pm, when the teen left to go spend some time at 'the bay' with a friend.
Miller remembers seeing Williamson get into an unknown silver vehicle and then driving off.
When Williamson didn't return to the trailer for several days, Miller called the friend who she thought had picked Williamson up and the girl told her that the teen was dead.
'I couldn't believe it,' Miller told the Sun Herald. 'I don't want to hear. I miss how she flipped her hair. I miss the crooked teeth with that beautiful smile. … I can smell her. I just keep wanting her to walk through that door. … I'll never have nobody like her again. That is barely something that crosses people's lives anyway. She is the most beautiful person.'
While police have not yet revealed how Williamson died, remarks on a Facebook tribute page to the teen say stab wounds were found on her body.
Williamson, who was born male and named Michael Wilkins by her parents, was an aspiring cosmetologist who friends say also enjoyed spending time outdoors.
Miller said she regarded Williamson 'like a daughter'. She became the ninth known transgender woman killed in the U.S. for 2015, according to data from the National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs.
Caitlyn Jenner referenced Williamson's death while accepting the Arthur Ashe courage award at this year's ESPYs.

Last week, an 18-month-old baby was found dead inside a car, suspected to have been killed by severe heat, in Arkansas.
The Police have identified the 18-month-old boy as the son of a Juvenile court judge, Wade Naramore.
Naramore is also a former Garland County deputy prosecutor.
The Hot Springs Police Department said it was conducting a criminal investigation.
It says the boy's death was likely due to 'excessive heat.'
A statement released on the family's behalf by a family friend Sunday night called the death a 'tragic accident.'
The Hot Springs Sentinel Record reported Monday that an official cause of death wouldn't be released until toxicology reports are ready in a few weeks.
