Nigeria Breweries Plc and the Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency are set to host the first Lagos Crossover Concert, which is preceded by 10 days of music, comedy and all-round entertainment at the unique Star Mega City, situated within the Eko Atlantic City, Lagos.
Scheduled to hold on the evening of Dec. 31, 2012 at the Eko Atlantic City, the concert, which will usher in the New Year, will feature some of the biggest music acts in the country. They include Tuface, Omawunmi, WizKid, Tiwa Sawage, Don Jazzy, D’Prince, Wande Coal, Dr. Sid of the Mavin Crew and Burna Boy.
Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos, who declared the Star Mega City open, described the concept as “the fruit of a successful partnership between the public and the private sector.â€
Mr. Yusuf Ageni, the Corporate Affairs Adviser of Nigerian Breweries Plc, added, “Lagos holds a special place in the heart of Star, as well as Nigerian Breweries. Thus, there was the need for the company to contribute something special to the state at this time.â€
