The Joint Security Task Force (JTF) in collaboration with the Yobe State Government has today reviewed curfew hours throughout the state.
A statement issued by the spokesman of the JTF in the state, Lieutenant Eli Lazarus says; “restriction of movement now starts from 9 o’clock in the evening to 6 o’clock in the morning throughout the state”
The statement further stated the taskforce’s appreciation of the patience and cooperation of members of the public as it solicits timely provision of credible information that will assist the JTF in its task of ensuring peace and security.
“The JTF calls on the general public not to relent in reporting any suspicious movements in their communities or neighbourhoods and to continue to assist and cooperate with security agents in the interest of peace and security”
