Nigerian Student Sentenced To Death By Hanging For Drug Trafficking In MalaysiaJohn Amaechi Eze, a 23-yr-old Nigerian student studying at a college in Kuala, Lumpur in Malaysia has been sentenced to death by hanging over drug trafficking.

John was found guilty of cannabis trafficking two years ago but his sentencing took place few days ago.

According to the judge in charge of his case, the prosecution had proved its case beyond reasonable doubt against John Amaechi Eze.

According to reports on NewStraits, in his judgment, Judicial Commissioner Mohd Zaki Abdul Wahab said the accused claimed he was waiting to board an express bus at a restaurant in front of the Lye Huat Garden hall when he was arrested by police.

However, he said the court did not believe his claim that he did not own the luggage when witnesses had testified that he was with the luggage all the time.
