The Deputy National Women Leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Hajiya Hadiza Aliyu, Friday expressed support for the decision of the ousted National Chairman, Chief Victor Umeh, to appeal against the judgment of the Enugu High Court.
She advised all the contending forces to allow the window of justice to be exhausted in settling the leadership crisis of the party. Aliyu, who addressed journalists at the party headquarters, said she was misled into attending the consultative meeting of the state chairmen of APGA, where those in attendance pledged their alliance with Barrister maxi
Okwu as the interim national chairman of the party. She, however, said: “I have realised my mistakes and am dissociating myself from whatever the outcome of the meeting, I was misled into attending, I am back to the Chief Victor Umeh leadership, those, who attended the meeting were there for selfish reasons. We are waiting for the outcome of the court cases and until that is dispensed with I don’t believe there is any faction in our party.”
