Man docked for attempted suicideThe Police on Wednesday arraigned one Adewale Adebayo, 32, before an Ibadan Magistrates’ Court for attempted suicide.

The prosecutor, Mr Oluseye Oyebanji, told the court that Adebayo attempted to kill himself by hanging but was rescued by people.

Oyebanji said the incident happened at the Fagbile Jegede area of Ibadan on Jan. 18 at about 7 p.m. and that the offence contravened section 327 of the Criminal Code Cap. 38 Vol. II Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
