FRSC-boss, Ositadinma ChidoThe Federal Road Safety Corps has warned Nigerians not to patronise scammers who have created fake recruitment portals to defraud people. The Corps in a statement said that it is not recruiting staff nor has it ask anyone to recruit staff for her.

A statement signed by the Corps states the attention of the Federal Road Safety Corps has been drawn to on-going activities of scammers who have created a fake recruitment portal, under the guise of extorting money from desperate job seekers to join the employ of the Corps.

These scammers have placed an FRSC recruitment exercise advert for 2012/2013 on the internet with a directive for prospective candidates to purchase forms on-line through a non-existing  bank account for the sum of ten thousand naira only and a Glo enquiry line of one Dr. Gbenga, purporting same to have been authorized by the FRSC management.

Disturbed by this trend, the management of the Federal Road Safety Corps wishes to discountenance itself from this criminal act and advises the general public especially, job seekers to disregard such unauthorized and mischievous publications as the Corps has no immediate arrangements to embark on any recruitment exercise.

For avoidance of doubt, the general public should note that the Corps has numerous platforms for publishing its activities such as its web site, Facebook and twitter.
