They acknowledged the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Comrade Ovuouzorie Macaulay, and Special Adviser to the governor on security matters, Admiral John Kpokpogri (rtd) for the role they played in the peace process that led to voluntary submission of arms by them in Warri, last month.

They also applauded the Commissioner of Police, Delta state, Mr. Ikechukwu Aduba and member of the defunct Delta Waterways Security Committee, Chief Boro Pudu for their efforts, but called on Uduaghan and Kuku to expedite action on the promises, especially rehabilitation and security of jobs that catalyzed the voluntary disbandment and demobilization by the group.

The ex-militants specially gave kudos to their generalissimo, “General Officer Commanding”, GOC, Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo , for encouraging them to embrace the amnesty programme.

NDLF said the government at all levels should integrate and rehabilitate them, as the ex-agitators have turned a new leaf.
