A Medical Director at the Cedarcrest Hospital in Abuja, Felix Ogedegbe, has confirmed that Governor Idris Wadaâ€™s broken leg, has been fixed.
Speaking to journalists on Saturday, Ogedegbe, who is an Orthopaedic Surgeon, said the Kogi State Governor did not suffer any life threatening injuries and may not be flown abroad for further treatment.
Wada is reported to have fractured his femur, after his convoy were involved in a road accident on Friday. His aide died on the spot, while eight others sustained various injuries.
He received first aid at a Specialist Hospital in Lokoja, before he was flown to Abuja for further medical attention.
