Ahead of the scheduled 2022 Osun Governorship Poll, the Alliance of Collaborating Political Parties (ACPP) has urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security operatives to be neutral in their operations.

A Chieftain of the Alliance, Wole Adedoyin made the appeal in Ilesa on Tuesday.

Adedoyin enjoined Osun State citizens, irrespective of their political, ethnic or religious affiliations, to pray for the success of the poll.

He further said that the cooperation of the security operatives was needed for a peaceful election and transition in the state.

The Alliance also tasked them to ensure peace throughout the election period.

ACPP finally advised Security operatives to be neutral before, during and after the election and prevent cases of ballot snatching by sponsored party thugs.
