NIGERIA: DSS releases Jonathan’s Chief Security Officer

The Department of State Services (DSS) has reportedly released Gordon Obua, the detained former Chief Security Officer (CSO) of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Obua, who was detained by the DSS last Thursday, was earlier on Tuesday, July 21 presented at an impromptu press briefing to dispel reports that he has died in detention.

According to SaharaReporters, Obuah was released around 10:30 pm on Tuesday. The online news platform claimed Obua's release was confirmed by a family source.
