President Goodluck Jonathan has said that the fuel scarcity being witnessed in the country was arranged to sabotage his government.
Jonathan made the comment on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, during the valedictory session of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) in Abuja, Daily Independent reports.
The president had come under severe criticism for remaining silent on the crisis which crippled services in the country.
Jonathan also urged the incoming administration of President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari to extend any proposed probe beyond his administration.
Jonathan said probing only his administration would amount to a witch-hunt.
Jonathan will handover to Buhari on Friday, May 29, 2015.
