Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State has once again attacked the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari describing him as too old to rule the country. Buhari is 73-years-old.

Fayose compared Buhari’s age with his mother’s adding that most people older than 70 wear diapers to aid with incontinence.

The governor also commented on the APC candidate’s recent trip to London insinuating that he might have been flown out of the country on an air ambulance.

Fayose made the comments during the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum which held in Lagos on Tuesday, March 10.

“Did you see General Buhari when he was leaving three weeks ago for the UK? Did you see him? Is there any picture in the public domain to show he left this country?” Fayose asked while addressing members of the press.

“Later news and stories were generated that General Buhari is airborne. Is he in …air ambulance,” the governor asked further.

“I gave the address of the hospital General Buhari was being treated in Cavendish Square. I know everything I’m saying is correct,” Fayose said.

The Ekiti State Governor also commented on the APC candidate’s age.

"Nigerians if you’re hearing me at home, I again remind you, General Buhari is too old. Sicknesses, problems, ailments comes (sic) with age,” Fayose said.

Fayose also urged newspapers to send journalists abroad to investigate his claims to see whether they’re true or false.
