Boko Haram terrorists have launched another attack on the town of Chibok in Borno State, reports say.

The insurgents invaded the town in a convoy of vehicles on Tuesday, March 10, Guardian reports.

The Boko Haram members reportedly seized food and other items from the villagers before setting some houses on fire. There was however no life lost in the attack.

"The insurgents carted away several motorcycles, foodstuff and many other properties,” a military source said, confirming the incident.

“The insurgents invaded our community in the early hours of Tuesday but many of the villagers have already fled,” a fleeing villager told Guardian.

The attack was also confirmed by the Chairman of Chibok Local Government, Ba'ana Lawan.

“We thank God no life was lost in the attack,” Lawan said.

Chibok is the town where over 200 girls were abducted by Boko Haram in April 2014.
