The Governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido has said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is a formation of hate, anger, frustration, envy and malice.
Lamido also criticized the APC Presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari for not speaking up when atrocities were committed in previous governments.
The governor stated this during the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum which held on Tuesday, March 10, in Lagos.
“APC… is a contraption. It is a formation of hate, of anger, of frustration, of envy and malice.” Lamido said
“There’s no way a party which has no formal chemistry, which is inorganic… the main driving force is to harm PDP, to remove PDP… they have no plan,” Lamido added calling APC the “dregs of the PDP.”
“Under Abacha, Buhari was watching, high profile murders were taking place, he never said anything… He never said a word about security,” the governor said calling into question the APC candidate’s ability to tackle insecurity and corruption in Nigeria.
Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State also urged Nigerians not to vote for Buhari saying that the former Head of State is too old to rule the country.
