ONITSHA—Chief Rommy Amandi Ezeonwuka, a member of  Board of Trustees, BoT of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has expressed optimism that the party would clinch victory in all the contentious seats in the South East geo-political zone come March 28 and April 11 general elections in the country.

Addressing Igbo youths, led by their commanders, who paid him a courtesy visit at his Rojenny Games Village, Oba, Anambra State, to seek his royal blessing, Ezeonwuka noted that he was sure that APGA would sweep the polls because of the practical performances of all APGA elected office holders both in the past and in the present.

Ezeonwuka pleaded with the youths to maintain law and order during the elections, even as he also directed them to ensure that every Igbo man and woman collected his Permanent Voter’s Cards, PVCs, to enable them vote for President Goodluck Jonathan during the presidential election and then vote for APGA candidates in all the south east governorship, senatorial,  House of Representatives and Houses of Assembly elections.

Ezeonwuka directed the youths to stick with APGA as they must have witnessed the rapid transformation programmes of APGA in Anambra State, which should be extended to other states of the South East zone.

He commended Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State for his practical demonstration towards rapid transformation of the state and urged him not to relen t in making APGA proud.

He also called for a massive vote for Chief Victor Umeh, the national chairman of APGA, to represent Anambra Central senatorial zone for speaking for Ndigbo during the last constitutional conference, adding that his courageous representation at the confab has qualified him to represent Igbo interest in the upper legislative chambers in Abuja.

Earlier, the spokesman of the youths and former National Director of Information of the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, Uchenna Madu, had explained that  they were at Rojenny to seek Chief Ezeonwuka’s blessing.

Madu said the youths had sworn to use their positions to  protect and work for APGA as the only party that could lead Ndigbo to the promised land.
