The incumbent House of Representatives Committee Chairman on Public Accounts who was at the Computer Village at the weekend to receive a Chevrolet campaign bus donated by members of CAPDAN to his campaign organization, said it was unfortunate that in spite of the over 80,000 employment provided for Nigeria and multi billion naira yearly turnover of the ICT village there was no federal government presence of any sort in the village.
Adeola, who is popularly called ‘Yayi,’ said he would ensure they have a voice in Abuja particularly in bills and policies relating to ICT as their roles in creation of employment and economic development need to be harness for further development. The two-term member of the Lagos State House of Assembly and present member of the House of Representatives said with almost 12 years cognate legislative experience he is the best choice for Lagos West which is the largest senatorial district in Nigeria, adding that none of the contestants against him have even a month legislative experience at any level.
