The minister of God in charge of the Restoration Church also known as the Miracle Galore Ministries in Enugu State Pastor Ifeanyi Okpe has enjoined Christians to cultivate the spirit of giving alms to their fellow human beings, especially to those they are better than. The preacher stated this on Sunday 7 September, 2014 while delivering his sermon on the topic ‘The Power of Gift’.

Taking his Bible reading from the book of proverbs chapter 18:16, he read: ‘A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before great men. Pastor Ifeanyi who sees the power of gift as enormous, defined it as the ability to put a smile on the face of your neighbour as well as the expression of God’s love towards mankind – John3:16, saying that gift cannot come without love.

Pastor Ifeanyi who outlined three types of gifts which include spiritual, physical and church gift as well as its benefits said the sacrifice that will bear fruits is very difficult to execute but if executed it will lead to greater opening of doors.

He also charged his hearers to begin to put smile on the face of people so that God will put a smile on their own faces and enjoined them to ask God to give them the grace to be givers
