Kano State Governor, Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso, said he is still consulting with friends and political associates on whether to join those seeking to contest the 2015 presidential election or not.

“As we started consultations on whether to join the 2015 presidential race, we have seen a lot of admirers and a lot of true enemies. Some people who have never met me, have sent me copies of my posters, calling on me to join the race.”

“Although some of these posters were sent to me since the last two years with a logo of PDP, therefore I directed my aides to destroy PDP posters and keep the APC ones until I make the decision,” he said.

Kwankwaso, who spoke with his political appointees yesterday at the Government House, Kano, appealed to them to advise him rightly on the choice to make.

He disclosed that he had become popular and that people want to see him wherever he goes across the country due to the projects his government had executed in the state as well as the transparent nature of his government which they want replicated at a higher level.

Kwankwaso revealed that people across the country and beyond had been calling on him to declare his presidential ambition for 2015, pointing out that they assured him of their full support.

He said Nigeria needs credible people that cannot only transform the nation but bring about change for the betterment of our country, noting that Kano State had witness a great transformation in all sectors.

Kwankwaso hoped that the All Progressives Congress (APC) would win the state gubernatorial election and indeed all elections with a wide margin, adding that the next governor would find the state easy to govern.
