BAUCHI — Commercial sex workers in Bauchi state have expressed concern over decline in patronage following insecurity in neighbouring states of Plateau, Borno, Yobe  and Adamawa.
Checks by Vanguard reveals that most of the owners of hot spots and brothels around some major streets within the metropolis have equally lamented the low patronage from clients who usually engage the services of the sex workers.
Some of the popular spots visited by our correspondent including Ogbonna Hotel, Focus Brothel, Time out by junction, Peoples Club and Benco Hotels also recorded low patronage.
Two sex workers (names withheld) at Bayan Gari, a suburb in Bauchi metropolis, said since the bomb explosion in Jos last month, most of their rich clients who are predominantly visitors had not been coming to the state again.
