Another 11 Girls Abducted in Borno by Boko Haram

Eleven teenage girls may have been abducted from another Borno town, it was gathered from people of the state  Tuesday.
 
Though official confirmation was not received as at the time of filing this report from the security agencies in the state, some of the residents of Gwoza that spoke to journalists in Maiduguri said eight girls were abducted on Monday morning by insurgents at Warabe village, an outskirts of Gwoza town.
 
It was learnt that the gunmen believed to be members of the outlawed Boko Haram sect, invaded the village and also carted away foodstuff and livestocks and  other valuables.
 
Warabe is about 160 kilometres away from Maiduguri, in the outskirts of Gwoza town which had witnessed series of deadly attacks by suspected terrorists in recent times.
