If we may ask, what will make Governor Amaechi and APC in Rivers State to be jittery and afraid? Afraid of PDP that is in disarray and cursed with a rudderless leadership without any sound vision? Afraid of a party whose founding fathers are leaving in droves and a party that has virtually ceased to function in Rivers State? This is nothing but the ranting of a drowning man. We would ordinarily not have bothered to respond to Wike if not for the need to put the records straight. It is indeed ridiculous for Wike to allege that Governor Amaechi and other APC leaders in the State are planning to rejoin PDP through the backdoor.
What he does not understand is that Gov. Amaechi has left PDP for good, without any intention of returning to the sinking ship which PDP has become as of today. Wike should continue with his vision and mission, which is to run down Nigeria’s educational system. It has gone on record that he supervised and ensured that Federal Polytechnics and Colleges of Education are permanently closed pending when he leaves office as the Supervising Minister of Education. His plot to render our University system comatose failed after he ensured that the Universities were closed for six months. The people of Rivers State are wise enough not to allow such a failed politician and administrator to govern the State even for one second to avoid him destroying all the enviable legacies of Governor Amaechi. Wike must be suffering from a very severe high fever for him to be dreaming of installing a drowning PDP as the ruling party in Rivers State in 2015.
We advise him to urgently visit Prof Kesley Harrison Specialist Hospital Diobu, Port Harcourt, for proper medical attention before his case becomes irredeemable. Rivers State is an APC State and a million Wikes cannot change that fact. We are proud of the feats of Governor Amaechi and we thank God that he has today become a political institution whose sandals Wike is unfit to untie. Long Life APC! Long Life Rivers State!!
