Many delegates have shown their likeness for titles—traditional, professional and national honours. Some even go to the extent of affixing PhD titles to their names. While others take long time to dramatise such titles as if to attract the desired attention and recognition during debates. For instance, Princess Hadiza Ibrahim thrilled the delegates last week when she took time to real out her long list of titles cutting across the ethnic divide.
In fact: it took her longer time to list her titles than the debate itself. In the end, she said, ” I am a victim of child abuse by my own parents, which I will not like to disclose here now until when we get to the committee stage. “Our intention here is to promote one Nigeria and I stand for one Nigeria.”
