Awareness, usage of mobile money still low in Nigeria — EFInA

A pro-Jonathan group, the Nigerians Project for Goodluck Jonathan, NPGJ, has said that the arrest and continued detention of its founder and national coordinator, Chief Michael Johnny, over unproven allegations of threat to the life of Chief Government Ekpemupolo, aka Tompolo, was political and anti-Jonathan’s re-election.
Spokesman of the group, Mr. Musa Yakubu, in Abuja, yesterday, described as shameful, the arrest and prosecution of Chief Michael Johnny, a law abiding and peace advocate for crime he never committed.
He said the arrest of Johnny was hatched by enemies of President Jonathan to frustrate Yakubu’s efforts toward delivering his Gbaramatu area to the President in 2015.
