Hisbah Group to Establish Women, Children Hospital in Sokoto

Hisbah Association of Nigeria is to establish women and children hospital in Sokoto State. Its state Chairman, Malam Adamu Bello Kasarawa, made the disclosure at the weekend, during a preaching session and inauguration of the national headquarters of the Association in Sokoto. He noted that health care service delivery was critical to the wellbeing of the society; hence the move by the Association to set up a medical facility in order to cater for health care needs of the people of the state. He said the proposed hospital would be fully equipped by the Association with top facilities so as to render health care services to women and children in the state. “We are really committed to the establishment of a hospital that will cater for the health needs of women and children in the state,” he said. According to him, this was in addition to the establishment of skill acquisition centre in the state in order to empower youths to become self-reliant. In his remark, the National President of the Hisbah Association, Malam Mohammad Bello, attributed the problem of drug abuse in the country to youth idleness.
