Jonathan Receives New US Envoy to Nigeria

President Goodluck Jonathan Tuesday received the letter of credence of the new United States Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. James F. Entwistle, in Abuja.
The president also received the letter of credence of  the new Namibian High Commissioner to Nigeria, Dr. Peingeonjabi Shipo.
 
While welcoming the duo to Nigeria, Jonathan enjoined them to do their best to further strengthen the existing cordial relations between Nigeria and their respective countries.
 
He assured the  new ambassadors of the support of the federal government in their efforts to broaden areas of bilateral collaborations between Nigeria and their countries during their tenure.
 
The president equally played host to Mr. Collins Chabane, a special envoy of President Jacob Zuma of South Africa.
 
He assured  Chabane that Nigeria would continue to welcome investors from South Africa and other African countries in keeping with its commitment to the promote intra-African trade and economic relations.
