Gbajabiamila, Peterside, Others Applaud Merger

In a swift reaction to the merger between members of the new Peoples Democratic Party  and All Progressives Congress (APC),  House minority leader, Femi Gbajabiamila and his colleagues  have embraced the development.
 
According to Gbajabiamila, who is in the APC,   the party receives all the decampees and others with   warm heart, stressing that. "the change that all Nigerians desire has only just started”.
 
On his part, Hon. Dakuku Adol Peterside (PDP, Rivers), who was a commissioner in Amaechi's government before his election as a lawmaker, said what happened "is a watershed in our democratic journey and hope rekindled."
