Kidnapped DELSU lecturer: ASUU faults Delta CP

ABRAKA — Chairman of Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, Delta State University, DELSU, Abraka chapter, Dr. Emmanuel Mordi, has described as untenable reason adduced by the police in Delta State for failure to produce a female lecturer of the university, Dr. (Mrs.) Mercy Mokobia, kidnapped in her residence since April 9.
About a month ago, the union asked the police to produce the abducted lecturer, dead or alive but reacting to the order, Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ikechukwu Aduba, who disclosed that police had arrested some suspects in connection with the incident, said the police were not magicians.
