NIGERIA: Pillars, Union Bank battle for Final 4 title

Nigeria Basketball Federation, NBBF in conjunction with the DStv, sponsor of the Premier Basketball league have fixed September 6-8, 2013 for the Final 4 Play-Offs at the Indoor Hall of the National Stadium in Lagos, following the conclusion of  both the Savannah and Atlantic Conferences’ Top Four competition.
Towards this end, a joint press briefing to usher in the competition will be held on September 3, 2013 by the NBBF and DStv while a clinic for invited Secondary Schools as well as a demonstration game by selected sides will will hold on September 4, 2013.
A day before the Final 4 Play-Offs dunks off, an All Star Game will hold, shortly after the 3-point shooting and Slam Dunk competitions.
Four teams, Kano Pillars and Mark Mentors from the Savannah Conference and Atlantic Conference duo of Union Bank and Dodan Warriors will vie for the top position after emerging from the Top 4 competitions held in Abuja and Lagos respectively.
The top two teams of the Final 4 will represent the country in the 2013 African Cup Club Championship.
