Vanguard learnt that notwithstanding the chase for him, the kidnap kingpin, whose family house in Kokori had been set ablaze, returned to Kokori, in the last few weeks, armed to the teeth.

He reportedly, abducted a military officer and held him incommunicado in his stronghold, prompting the military to deploy a team of military personnel, led by a Captain to Kokori,  on a rescue mission.

Our source said that the military team discovered to their chagrin that Kelvin was under the protection of over 200 youth and could do nothing but to request for the release of the abducted officer.
